Fairytails stongest mage: The Dragon Sage

The S-Class promotion trials

It's been about a week since I've been back. I've been catching up with everyone, mostly team Natsu and Lisanna.
I also became sorta friends with Lucy and even Juvia, while I may have unintentionally adopted Wendy as my little sister.
Right now Solo season has started and Today Master Makarov will announce the S-Class promotion trials participants. As I'm standing on the stage next to Mira, Erza and Guildarts I start to think back on my own trial. Before I could think about it to hard though the curtain raised showing us to the entire guild
"I will now announce this year's entrance for the S-Class wizard promotion trials!" Master announced making the guild break out into cheers.
"This year's trials will take place on Tenrou Island, our guilds sacred grounds!" Master continued making another wave if cheers errupt.
"The strength that you posses inside, your character and your hearts. These are what I considered when making your selections. This year I have chosen 8 participants, Riozawa if you'd please..." Master motioned for me to step forward. I nodded once before moving I just a step closer to the edge of the stage
"I'll be announcing the participants per Gramps request!" I said making a few cheer loudly
"Nastu Dragneel... Gray Fullbuster...Juvia Loksar... Elfman Strauss... Cana Alberona... Freed Justine... Levy McGarden... And Meat Grinder!" I announced while everyone praised those people.
"Riozawa means Mest Grider..." Makarov adds on incase of confusion I may have caused.
"From my side well done, and even if you did not get picked this year, do not loose faith because a Fairytail wizard never quits!" I said causing yet another lively reaction. I stepped back and let master take over.
"Well done to everyone, before we move on each participant may choose a partner for the trials. Erza will explain further." Gramps said as Erza stepped forward
"Participants may choose who ever they like for the trial, but must keep these two rules in mind when making the selection: one- this person cannot be an S-classed or SS-classed wizard, and two- they must be a member of Fairytail." She announced
"Participants and their chosen partners are to meet at Hargeon Port in one week." Gramps said and made his exit leaving the guild to celebrate. As with that I made my way to Gramps side
"Hey Gramps... Can we talk?" I asked as he took his seat on the bar. He motioned to the seat closest to him
"What on your mind child?" He asked as Mira handed him a drink, I sighed and looked at him.
