Chapter 1 Prologue

Hi im Persephone Jackson, but please call me Percy. My story starts when I was 6 years old.

It all begins when my stepfather Smelly Gabe grabbed me roughly from my room to the living room that has beer bottles all around the room and started to hurt me badly.

You might be wondering where my mom and dad are my mom is working at a place called Sweet On America while my dad is lost at sea.

He's been hurting me for awhile now when the door from our apartment opened and my mom walked in.

Just to let you know my mom did not know about the abuse since Gabe told me that he would kill my mom if I told her.

My mom tried to stop him but she didn’t know that he had a knife in his hand.

He stabbed her multiple times and she was loosing blood quickly. 

The last two things she told me was that she loved me and told me to run and don’t look back.

I did what she said but before I ran away I grabbed thee emergency bag on my way out and then I ran as fast as I can.
