Chapter 23

Ritesh's pov:

" Yeah pass me the chocolate ", I said to be young girl.

I didn't even argued or corrected her when she addressed Rachana as my wife in fact I felt contented from my heart but why? I was confused in my own feelings. My heart was to be doing very faster rate. I got all the items and came to work my car. I observedRachana almost crying expression. Her eyes reflected down cast expression. Maybe she was upset and embarrassed.

" Are you okay? Is it paining so much ?", I asked her in a concern way.

" Sorry.....sorry.....I am really very sorry......your car seat became dirty because of you.....I don't know how.....I am very sorry", Rachna was fumbling with her statement.

" It is absolutely okay Rachna. It is not your mistake", I smiled warmly at her.

" Trust me the date of my period just left from my mind. I as well as preeti were not having any extra sanitary napkins and l am very sorry for it", Rachna looked down.

" First of all stop crying Rachna and look at me. It's absolutely okay. Just calm down and take a deep breath. Here is your sanitary pads and chocolates", l passed a bag to her.

" Thanks but why you buyed so many sanitary napkins and what about the chocolate, there was no need to buy it. Did that young girl said something unusual to you because she was giving me mysterious sly smile through her current transparent window.

" No nothing she just addressed you as my wi....wife", l somehow completed the sentence and felt my cheeks little bit of reddish in colour.

Am l blushing just because that young girl mentioned Rachna as my wife?

" Whaaaaaattttt? ", Rachna shouted suddenly.

" Then what did you explained to her?", Rachna raised her eyebrows.

I just shrugged the thoughts off ", l said casually to her.

" But still there was no need to buy so many pads", Rachna tired to change this current topic because it was awkward for both of us. We both never stayed like a lovable Love birds or in a proper couple relationship. I don't know about my feelings too. I only want my family to be happy.

" Actually I was confused so thought to buy everything. It's first gift to you from me basically from my side ", I am truly stupid. I am sure Rachna was giving me strange look. Come on who gives his future wife sanitary pads as a first gift. Rachna was reading my facial expressions while l raised my eyebrows.

Rachna's pov:

I  what is completing my file box that and I felt something wet then it striked in my mind. Oh God I missed my sanitary napkins too. Priti also forgot to put extra pad in her purse. I was really very embarrassed and stomach was playing like hell . Luckily Ritesh grand me a half day leave.

Ishita, the new manager waa throwing daggers from her dark brown eyes when I was talking with Ritesh, my crush, my future husband, my lover but I shrugged off my thoughts in my mind. Ishita is not important for me. I booked the cab but it was quite late. I was waiting in the side lane under the hot scowling sun. My body and brain was entirely tired. Suddenly a posh car came in front of me and stopped over there. The man's scrolled down the window and I found Riteish sitting in the driving seat looking handsome in the messy hairs.

" Get inside the car ", I heard Ritesh's  sexy voice. I declined the offer but he was stubborn than me hence l sat beside him on the passenger seat.

I rested my head and close my eyes relaxing my body and mind. I was feeling good and relaxed by hearing soft melodious music from the FM radio. I found one chemist shop in the nearby area. I was about to move down but Ritesh voice stopped me. He willing got down and made his way towards the shop to buy sanitary napkins for me. I was feeling rejected, embarrassed actually felt like crying. I hope he didn't felt bad or thought wrong about me. When he said and observed red blood on my dress and on the top of the seat, he was very cool with it. He didn't scolded me. I was observing the behaviour of Ritesh. He was actually very kind and caring but masked up the rude and arrogant behaviour in front of the world. I was shocked and stunned when he gave me a full bag filled with sanitary napkins and one long chocolate. It was his first gift which l loved it. It was truly unique. I was embarrassed earlier but his soothing words relaxed me.
