You know what? I don't see a lot of people hating straight ships in MHA, it's just that there are a bunch of people who ship LGBTQ+ ships more. I see that it's talked about, but I never see it for myself. Although, I mostly stayed put in a small part of the MHA fandom so I guess I wasn't exposed to the side that hates straight ships haha.
However, I think that putting any amount of hate on any ship and fighting about it is dumb. Hating a ship that is minor x adult or incest is an exception though since those are just freaking weird.
Straight ships are totally fine :) and people who hate them just because they're straight ships have no taste.
I have my fair share of love for straight ships like Uraraka x Deku and KamiJirou even though I love LGBTQ+ ships as well like MiriTama, Inatodo (my fav rarepair), and Midnight x Ms. Joke.
Overall, ships are ships and most of them are completely valid and deserve some love.
