CHAPTER 05

"Shai i can't, i'm freaking grounded for three days."

Shai was obviously annoying me and saying na mag club daw kami mamaya, kaso i remember that i was grounded.

"Shocks naman kase yang si tito, di ka naman na bata." She pouted, i just smiled at her while continuing walking.

"Can't blame my dad, It's still my fault for leaving without their permission." She nodded at me at napa kapit na lang sa braso ko.

"Hi Yuna." My brows furrowed when i saw the man last time na may hawak ulit na kape habang ngayon ay naka ngiti saakin. "May nagpapabigay ulit sayo." Wala sa sarili kong tinanggap ang kape at naka ilang pikit.

"S-sino nagpapabigay...ulit?" I asked him.

"Secret daw." Ngumiti ito ulit saakin before he waved his hand before running.

"Gaga iba na yan." Shai answered shooking her head.

When Shai and I got to our next class it was pretty smooth, nagsimula na din ang klase namin it went pretty good hanggang sa mag dismissed na which means lunch time oh god our lesson made me that hungry so i rush to go outside.

"Teka lang Ryleigh ha? Madaling madali?" Shai rolled her eyes at me struggling to put her books on her bag. And when she successfully put the books lumapit sya saakin.

"Yuna!" A classmate call me so i raised my brow.
"Tawag ka nung nasa Law department, punta ka daw sa main building." She said so nagtaka ako.

Law? Don't tell me that it is that Jan guy again he's the only law student i know.

"Lah pustahan si Jan yan, wag ka na pumunta nagugutom na ako." Shai warned me.

A idea suddenly came to my mind, what if it is That Jan guy? Kaya ba ayaw ni Shai kase nandoon yung ex nya? Well of course as a good friend pipilitin ko sya.

"Maybe it really need me right? Let's go." Pag-aaya ko sakanya pero agad nanlaki ang mata nito.

"Hoy gaga nagugutom na ako." Reklamo nya but i didn't listened, this time i will be the one who will annoy her, that's a payback.

"Okay what ever." I hissed, i know na hindi nya ako matitiis at hindi nya ako iiwan kaya nag patuloy lang ako sa paglalakad papunta sa main building.

There i was right when i saw Him, Jan guy with Kiel i smirked at myself walang mag momove on sa pamilyang to. Agad akong lumapit kay Shai na ngayon ay magkadikit ang kilay ofcourse she saw her ex.

"I'm sorry sis." I smiled at her pero napairap lang ito. Shai is taller than me hanggang ilong lang ako ng babae.

"Yuna." Agad nag panicked si Jan and casually stand up.

"Hey, i heard you were calling for me?" I stated while smiling, why the hell he looked so nervous? Hmm if he asked me kung pwede ako sa project nila i couldn't resist so i'll just agree.

"Y-yes! Ano pero kumain ka na ba?" Kabadong tanong ni Jan saakin.

"Yes, how about you?" I asked him.

"Alis muna ako-" bulong ni Shai saakin at aalis na sana pero hinila ko yung wrist nya habang naka ngiti pa rin kila Jan at Kiel.

"Bilisan mo na bro." Sinagi s'ya ni Kiel kaya agad sinamaan ni Jan ito ng tingin. Jan guy cleared his throat bago humarap saamin.

"Ano, about dun sa project—" i cutted him.

"I'm in." I smiled wide enough, dumaan ang gulat sa mata ni Jan guy tsaka ngumiti doon lang ako napatigil, when he smiled what the fuck? He's cute.

"Talaga?-!" Binatukan sya ni Kiel. "I mean, thank you! Salamat talaga Yuna!" He thanked me, we bid a goodbye to each other.

"Ano yon ha? Akala ko ba you don't deal with a stranger." Shai even made a hand gesture.

"He's just makulit, tsaka isasama kita." She made a disgust face knowing that she will see Kiel more often.

"Kung ilalakad mo lang ulit sana pala di na ako bumalik dito." I laughed at her pero masama lang ang tingin nya saakin.

Mabilis lang din natapos yung classes namin hanggang sa mag uwian na, usual routine my driver fetch me at umuwi sa bahay, i just stay in my room and made some plates.

"Oh, i thought you don't want that deal?" Jirah asked me. I'm in a video call with my friends Jirah, Haze, Shai, Prince, and me.

"Hmm, wala naman sigurong masama diba?" I asked them.

"It's your choice Yuna, hindi namin yon papakealaman." I thanked Prince for his understanding.

"Sabagay, basta kapag may ginawa sayo yon, tawagan mo kami." Haze winked at me so i laughed.

"Guys stopped it's just a project you're so o-oa." I chuckled.

"Basta hindi ako sasama sayo." Shai stated while doing her plates? I think dahil may lapis syang hawak.

"Why? I thought we're friends." I dramatically teased Shai.

"Gago!" All of us chuckled dahil sa sagot ni Shai.

"Ops, bawal mag mura #cancelShai." Prince teased Shai more, Shai mocked Prince and rolled her eyes.

Nag usap pa kami doon hanggang sa nag paalam na kami, i finished some of my plates and do my routines.

It was a pretty stressful day for me.

"I'm craving for chicken!" Reklamo ni Shai, not as usual ay tatlo kaming magkakasama ngayon, kasama namin ni Shai si Prince while Jirah and Haze are not here.

"Chiken? Sa mcdo na lang?" Prince asked Shai. Shai nodded so Prince smile and tapped her head.

Gaya ng napagusapan namin, sa mcdo nga kami kumain, i was new to this place well yeah this is my first time eating in a fast food not gonna lie.

"How about you Ryleigh? Anong order mo?" Prince asked me.

"What's the foods here?" I asked them.

"Ako na nga! Chiken na lang din iorder mo dali gutom na ako." Pagtataboy ni Shai kay Prince. Tumawa lang si Prince bago umalis he said na libre na lang daw nya yung foods at s'ya din ang umorder.
