"Wait, so why are you doing that?" Kayla asked. "To blow everyone's mind," I started, "everyone expects someone who wears leather jackets, tattoos, lots of piercings, and all that shit, yeah? So, I am going to be the complete opposite. I, am going to be a smart, sweet, polite, little nerd." ***** Abigail Hummers, or Abby for short, is moving back from her aunt's house to her parents'. Everyone is expecting the same appearance of the fourteen year-old girl who left two years ago: Tight clothes, black make-up, combat boots, leather jacket. But, Abby loves surprising people. So, she decides to come back as a stereotypical nerd. Bright clothes, good grades, and lots of chess club friends. Or at least, one real friend and a bunch of weird kids she "talks" to for the act. Abby catches the attention of a lot of people at school, including Chad Raves, the bad boy. And whose a better match for Abby than the bad boy in school? Except, Abby's a nerd.
