After the attack i decide we needed to move, i dont know how they found us, i was sure that my camp was safe and hidden
"Im sorry...about your place" i turned to look at her for a second then her words hit me
"Its fine, its time for some changes" i said shrugging
"But its your home!"
"It was never home" i said as i kept walking
"i dont know where home is" i whispered the last part then i moved the branches to see a small town
"Come one" i said walking out the bushes towards the small inn
"I uh...uh" she sounded scared
"Oh come on! Stay by me" i started walking then i heard her walk behind me i opened the door and was hit with different kinds of smell, beer, sweat, and more i gaged
"What?" Jenny whispered looking scared
"Don't you smell that" i asked she shook her head
"Humans!" I said walking up to the bar the bartender walked up, he was an old men grey hair and beard fat and mean looking he looked at me his hazel eyes looks dull and tired
"What you having" he asked his voice deep and serious wiith a hint of tierdness, i watch him as he lean on the counter waiting for me to answer him
"How was your day?" I asked he looked taken aback then confused
"Excuse me?" He asked unsure of what he heard, he doesn't get questions like this everyday
"How was yoour day?" I asked again and he looked at me his hazel eyes showing some light
"Its been hectic but good...thanks for asking" his voice also had a hint of appreciation
"That's good!" I said giving him a genuine smile
"Do you want a drink?" He asked little more happier then before
"Please! 2 shots of taquila and water for my friend" i said
"Coming right up" he said getting my order
"How long have you been working here?" I asked and he sighed
"Pretty much all my llife" he sounded sad about it
"You gave up something didn't you?" I could tell by the way his posture changed and the tone of his voice
"Yes...i did" he said
"Wanna talk about it?" He looked at me suspiciously
"I'm not a spy or anything, i just understand" i said he relaxed a bit
"Its to hard to talk about it" i nod
"Its fine" i took the other shot glass and passed it to him and took the other one
"To you" i said raising my glass waiting for him to grab his
"Whats this?" He asked looking at the shot
"Yours now pick it up and lets cheers" i said he looked at me and smiled
"Thanks!" Then we took our shots, he looked alittle alive and it gave me hope that one day, one at a time i can help them find their way
"Why do you do that?" Jenny asked i smiled and looked at her
"Do you know what i am?" she nods
"Vampire" she answers i laughed
"Not that part, the other part" she shook her head no i laughed again
"When you figure it out, then you understand why" i said taking another shot
"Im sorry" she whispered
"For what?" I turned to look at her
"Nothing" she said shaking her head i know something was up buut i let it slide
"Im tierd" she yawned i raised my hand to the bartender and he smiled
"What can i do you for?" He asked
"We need a room to sleep in for a couple days" i said taking my last shot
"Sure there's an open room free of charge" he said putting a key on the table
"Thank you!" I smile and took the key walking out followed by jenny.
