Elliot's POV

"Ryan!" I shouted from my room.

"What do you want now, Elliot?" He answered back with an angered tone, probably from shouting at him. "And don't you there shout at me or else I'll bash your head through the wall."

"S-sorry, it's just that my door won't open and I can't get out."

"What do you want me to do about? Set you free so you can go out? No way, I'm not stupid enough to actually let you go. So, just go to bed and you better be there when I check up on you at midnight," he madly replied back. "Now, let me continue enjoying my show would you."

I sighed and wondered how I was going to make it to the party now since I was locked in my room.

My pendant, I thought. I held my pendant with both of my hands and wished to be at Carson's house.

Whoosh.

I heard the sound of the wind as I transported from my room to Carson's house. I knew I was at his house when I felt the cold air bite at my skin, I opened my eyes and saw that I was just a block away from the party, I started walking towards the party with a steady pace and took in the soft, cool breeze flowing through me and random people's cars parked by the sidewalk. As I was getting closer and closer to Carson's party, I couldn't help but look at his house in awe. I don't think it should be counted as a house because it could easily pass as a castle, it was that huge. When I entered his house, it took me awhile to take in my surroundings since there were so many people, either walking around or staggering around if they were drunk, which they most like were. I also saw people dancing on the dance floor, if you could even call what they were doing dancing, it was more of bumping and grinding if you tell me.

I was suddenly thirsty so I went towards the kitchen, grabbed an unopened soda can instead of a cup and pouring what looks like punch into it because it's probably spiked with more than one alcoholic substance. Ew. After I opened my soda and taking a big gulp, I felt a presence next to me, I turned to tell whoever it was to move back because they were in my personal space. But, once I turned, I wish I hadn't because standing next to me was the almighty prince of this castle, Carson Knight. While I was a bit busy staring at him, I didn't realize he asked me a question.

"Sorry, what?" I said, when I came out of my trance.

Carson chuckled, " Well, I said my name's Carson, what's your?"

"I'm Elliot or "Eli" for short," I replied back extending my hand out for him to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Elliot," he said while shaking my hand. After he released my hand I couldn't help but missed his soft-rose-petal-feel like hands. I set my can of soda down on the kitchen counter and looked at him wondering what he wanted.

As if he could read my mind, " I came here to see if you wanted to dance with me for awhile?" He asked.

OH MY GOD, is this real life? Did I hear him correctly? Did Carson Knight really just asked me to dance with him? I could die happily right now! This is a dream come true! But wait...

"I thought that you were straight?" I blurted out. I didn't know that he was gay, he was always surrounded by girls that you'd think he was straight too.

"I'm not straight, I'm 100% gay, now that you know, shall we?" He asked me while extending his hand towards me.

"We shall," I agreed, while I took his extended hand and let him lead the both of us to the dance floor. He couldn't have picked a more perfect time asking me because when we reached the dance floor a slow song came on, which was really random seeing that it was a house party, not a some ball, but anyway the song that was playing was just not any song, it was one of my favorites, "Thinking About You" by Frank Ocean.

"When I'm thinkin' bout' you ( Oh, no, no,no ) I've been thinking about you (You know, know, know) ..."

As the lyrics glide out of the speaker and into my ears, I leaned my head against Carson's shoulder and placing my arms around his neck and relaxed. His arms were holding tightly on my waist, it wasn't tight enough were I could barely breathe, but it tight enough to make me feel safe and secure. I loved the way both our bodies swayed to the rhythm of the song. The great part was that nobody even minded us on the dance floor since we were probably the only guys who were slow dancing with each other and people didn't stare at us with disgusted looks on their faces. After the song had ended, he and I just stayed there warped up in each other's arms for a while. My eyes looking around until I caught a glimpse of the clock that was on the wall and immediately tensed when I read it was half an hour to midnight.

Feeling me tense up, Carson asked what was wrong. But I was too panicked to respond to him and with that, I stepped out of his arms and made a dash for the door. I quickly maneuvered my way out of the house, ignoring Carson's calls for me to stop. I was outside of his house when I realized that my pendant was gone I looked around the floor to see if it had fallen off but didn't see it in sight. It must've dropped while I was running, I thought, I hope it doesn't fall in the wrong hands. With that I ran to my house as quickly as I could, as I reached the side of my house I saw this huge, long vine attached to the side of my house, leading to my bedroom window. Without thinking I grabbed onto the vine, that I didn't notice before, and quickly climbed my way to my window, as I reached my window, I saw that a block of wood was the caused of my window being jammed. Quickly removing the block of wood and throwing it below me, I opened my window and went inside. As I was halfway through my window, I heard footsteps, to be more specific I heard Ryan's footsteps, it was getting louder and louder as he was headed towards my room. I quickly made my way to my room, shut the window quietly, stepped out of my shoes and got into bed making sure that my blanket was covering everything but my face so that Ryan won't see my party clothes and beat me for sneaking out.

As soon as I closed my eyes, my bedroom door opened, knowing it was Ryan I made my breathing even so it looked like I was deep in sleep. After Ryan exited my room and went into his own room, I stayed awake for awhile because I was worried that my pedant would fall the in the wrong hands. I just hope that it doesn't and that Carson wouldn't be mad at me for leaving him without explaining. It took me an hour for me to eventually sleep but it was worth it because I dreamed about Carson and I dancing all night long and that had me sleeping with a smile.
