Anuwe froze as her gaze landed upon a cloaked figure.

"W-What-!"

She squeaked fearfully, attempting to back away.

Only she managed to step on her head piece, almost yanking herself the the ground.

Only she didn't hit the ground.

A pair of strong arms had caught her.

"Isis...."

Osiris murmured, manifesting behind his wife.

She did not turn to face him, instead keeping her back to him.

"Why...."

She whispered.

"What...?"

He murmured in confusion.

She whipped around angrily to face him.

"How could you not tell me?! Nor Seth?!"

"Tell you what?"

Isis clenched her teeth, tears pooling in her eyes.

"Seth has a blood child....HOW?! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

"I-"

"Do not lie to me."

She sobbed softly, tears pouring freely.

"I heard everything that night. I know all of it."

Osiris held his tongue for a moment.

"He cannot have children....So I know this was your doing."

"Not intentionally."

"Wha.....what?"

She whispered.

The girls cloak had flung off revealing a head of fiery red hair.

Their gazes locked.

And her burning embers lit his soul aflame.

A scorching mark was burnt into his heart.

"I..I....."

She'd begun to attempt to back away from the strange man only for him to grab her in an almost desperate hold.

"Wait! Please...."

He whispered, desperately trying to ignore the unusual burning sensation in his chest.

What was this....?

"You....your who I'm searching for. I know who you are and I can tell you!"

Anuwe began the squirm against him but it was almost futile compared to his almost god-like strength.

Anubis was surprised at just how strong the girl was.

This had to be her.

"Please...Daughter of Seth."

Anuwe froze at his words.

"H....How did you...?"

She whispered fearfully.

It was her.

Anubis kept a hold of her.

"We do not have much time. Please trust me. You need to come with me."

"W...What?! I do even know you!"

Anubis opened his mouth to explain only for the sound of giant powerful wings to burst through the air.

"Please!"

Anubis begged.

Anuwe inhaled sharply, allowing her hand to intertwine with Anubis's.

Anubis thanked his grandparents silently as he hurriedly pulled her along down the street and under cover.

What was Horus doing here?!

Had he wanted to search for Seth's daughter as well?

What could he possibly want her for?

Anubis held his breathe, trying to ignore the softness of her back pressed against his chest as he held her close.
