Anubis hovered close to the alley walls, swiftly drifting through the city quietly as though he were a spirit.

Crap.

He really should have dug deeper.

Maybe if he'd stayed and listened longer...

He didn't even know her name.

All he knew was she was a woman with Red hair which was likely hidden under a head cloth.

A needle in a haystack.

Great.

Anubis tried to remain hopeful.

He had to do this.

He had to find her.

................................................

Where....

She could not have just disappeared.

It wasn't like her.

She'd been gone for days now.

The Red eyed teen stood - he was a man with long wavy black hair pulled into a low ponytail and red eyes.

He couldn't stand around like this for any longer.

He grabbed his satchel, stuffing it with food that wouldn't tarnish to quickly.

"Wepwawet...?"

"Auntie..."

Wepwawet murmured back to the concerned woman.

"Your going to look for her aren't you?"

Wepwawet didn't hesitate to reply.

"Yes I am."

"Wepwawet, you don't even know where to begin-"

"I Will ask around."

"Wepwawet it is to dangerous! You think the Egyptians won't kill you the moment they notice your eyes?!"

Wepwawet exhaled softly, turning to face his aunt murmuring to his aunt In Hebrew.

(And they will do the same to her if I do not find her.)

His aunt gently cupped his face.

(but I do not want you also to meet such a fate....)

"I won't. I promise you I will find her...."

Wepwawet embraced his aunt.

"....And bring her home."

........................................

Horus climbed over the railing of the balcony, carefully concealing his face under the hood of his cloak.

He was going to find the girl.

Maybe....just maybe.

If he found the girl and his uncle learned he had a blood child he'd...

He would no longer be so vengeful?

Maybe...he would forgive and he and his mother would get along again.

He glanced back behind him once more.

He had to be careful.

No one else could know of this yet.

For the safety of the girl no one could know.

If so much as a rumor broke loose about Seth having a blood child-

Someone might try to kill or harm her before he'd get to her.

He couldn't let that happen.

He needed her.

For his uncle.

.........................................

Anuwe looked about nervously, making her way through the alleyways.

Why...Why was she being led here?
