He was a friend
Or so I thought
We laughed and talked
While the nights went on
When I first saw him
I was intimidated by his talent and muscles
Now I know he is just a silly talkative guy
With some talent(I guess)
I would give him a hard time
And laugh at some of his talk
But we hadn't known each other
For more than three months
Now I find out weeks after seeing him
That he had a crush on the girl that acted annoyed
Now I know instead of gliding through the water
He was trying to dive into my life
And become the first boy to have my heart
If I'd only known a month sooner
I probably
Maybe
Would have said yes
I had no clue
And now I know and he has a new beau
I guess in the end
That girl is just happy to know she was liked
By the boy in the water
That she met one night
