Confusion
That's all I feel
How did I have this delusion
That we weren't for real
You kept this all in
While I continued to keep going
Thinking we were just friends
Kept laughing with you ad joking
How was I supposed to know you thought there would be a happy endingBetrayed
That's how I feel
We talked
A long time ago about a deal
We both agreed that we didn't like each other
That everyone was being cruel
But really you were cheering on the others
Hoping I would see my fool
I continued to tell embarrassing stories,
Ask lots of questions,
And make fun of your voiceAmazed
That's how I feel
Someone liked me!
Even though I'm real
I'm not skinny
Or full of skill
I wear T-shirts most days
And take allergy pills
I come to school with fly always
And even when I get the chills
Someone liked me once
And that's true
He made me feel
Confusion, betrayal, and amazement
