Tears keep coming
Down my face
Eyes burning
Body shaking
No matter what though
You keep driving
Through the darkness
And the haze
Tears keep
Drip, drip, dripping
Down my face
Phones ringing
In my ear
A call that
Just sends
More fear
Silent prayers
In the car
My worst fears
Are not far
Watching every turn you make
Hoping that you'll use the brakes
Questions go unanswered
As we near
Letting the tears drip down
Tryin to calm my ragged breath
As we see the house approaching
I resort to pleading and croaking
But you refuse to come inside
Leaving me alone
With tears in my eyes
