Leo's POV
I walked back home and mom saw my face, she chose not to acknowledge it and continue helping Kathrina eat the cake that Carly brought

Walking upstairs and going to my room I can't help but get frustrated at what I saw at the park, Carly being in his arms is not something I can accept easily but I can't accept also that I might be in love with her

Mom knocked at the door frame that she is leaning on, she walked and sat beside me on my bed

"Leo....do you know how long your father confessed to me after we first met?" she asked, I shake my head

"it took him 6 years and in those 6 years, he said he was in love with me the first time we met" she said in a sad tone

I embraced mom in a side hug
"me and your father could've spent those six years making memories but we ended up having a wild goose chase"

She held both of my shoulders and looked at me in the eye "Leo you've inherited your dad's personality and I worry that you might live those years in regret" she patted my head and left my room

I never thought my mom would give me a sit-down and talk about dad, but I always see Carly slowly going farther and farther away

Each little step she takes she gets farther and farther slowly slipping through my fingers, I stood up and looked at my mirror and I saw myself

My hair is never kept properly and my outfits were always just some bad boy type I guess it is always unkept, if I am going to change everything I should start with what I look like

"Mom!" I said in a loud voice
"Yes, What is it?" she asked while being downstairs

"can you help me with my hair?"

And everything started from there

Carly's POV
I went inside and it is very quiet, Stacy, Ross and Kevin left and everybody seems to be sleeping already and the whole house is clean already

I walked to the backyard that has a bench swing and I sat there, I enjoy the cool breeze

I feel my phone buzz from notification in my pockets and I looked at the message, it was a group chat that we have since my group in Arts have started

It was a message from Leo
"you guys wanna come to my Aunt's Lakehouse?"

Everybody agreed and said they wanted to go, I just replied "k"

Since the holiday is near anyway and the great thing about our suspension is that our suspension only lasted for two days since the holidays will start soon after, I think going to a lake house is a great idea

Stacy knocked loudly at my bedroom door which forced me to wake up in my afternoon nap
"what?" I said in a sleepy voice with a yawn

"let's get you ready" I raised a brow at her

"ready for what?" she took my arm and pulled me downstairs where I saw Natasha

"Natasha?" I was confused at what is happening

"shoulder-length hair suits her nicely, I'll help her prepare" so Stacy helped me get ready and pushed me out of my home

Natasha is driving a white convertible and Stacy just pulled my arm and we got in, they drove me to a mall and I was put in a hair salon chair

"what's going on?, can you guys explain to me" I was looking around and the hairstylist of the shop and also both Stacy and Natasha were grinning at me

I was suspicious and they started touching my hair, I tried to stand up but both Stacy and Natasha held both of my shoulders to prevent me from standing
