After a conversation with my friend, I'm considering advocating for a gender-neutral school uniform. My school is pretty progressive but the area we live in is kind of conservative. I'm gonna bring it up with our Pride group. Anyway, it's something that matters to me, so I want to do it, but it's kind of scary. I've never experienced any homophobia at school but I'm pretty much under the radar, petitioning to change the school uniform will put a spotlight on me. (I would also like them to change the "he/she"'s to "they" in the rules)
I wanna know what other people think, please let me know if this is a good/bad idea.
