The entrance of the village was hidden under huge dense trees, leading up to what seemed like a pond with a waterfall flowing down into it. The crystal clear water surrounded by the vibrant grass looked vitalizing. The girls exited the carriage as the guards instructed and they stood there confused as to where the village was located.
Two men emerged from the rock formations embracing the water waterfall and landed onto the water surface elegantly. Takigakure was known for their water and earth users. They had been trying to merge the two justsus so they could replicate Hashirama Senju's wooden release for years.
However, his release was a special type of Kekkei Genkai that wasn't even passed down by older clan members. He was one of a kind and was the first Shinobi to settle down and form a village conjoining multiple clan members for the sake of preserving his own clan and the neighboring ones. This helped earn him the name "god of shinobi" for his unmatched ninja abilities.
Not long ago, Takigakure claimed that they could defeat Hashirama by sending off one of their highly trained elites. His name was on the tongues of many shinobi from all sorts of neighboring villages, it was Kakuzu Shoku. The eldest son of the Shoku clan leader.

"Hayase sama was waiting for you impatiently. Please follow me" one of the masked men spoke and dived into the water, leaving the two girl shocked. They never would've guessed that is where the village was hidden. Takigakure really took it far when they decided to locate their village. Infact this village took everything over the top. As far as anyone was concerned Higakure was glad to have them as allies.
The two stood there dumbfounded.
This was it?
This was the entrance?... Did all their guests have to get drenched to enter?
<So unwelcoming. As expected from Taki> The two girls gave each other looks, as if sharing the same thought.
"Really?...what an entrance" Haru said unamused not liking the idea of getting wet to enter the village. She didn't really like being around water. After being raised in Higakure under the blazing sun, it was unfavorable to get wet and it would forcefully lower their body temperature. The two were already getting cold without having access to their regular sun intake.

"What is wrong?....Don't tell me this is about your hair getting wet?" Shinju said in disappointment as if this wasn't the first time her sensei almost ruined a mission for the sake of her hair. "Hey! you said you wanted something new. But I suppose the grass is always greener, huh?" She teased

"You little brat" Haru chuckled and tied her hair back preparing to extinguish her flame colored tresses in the waters.

After surfacing from the water and getting up to steady their feet on the waters of the big pond, they appeared infront of a village gate that opened as their escort gave the signal.

The village was huge! It was like a massive pond with a gigantic tree growing in the heart of the base. Houses surrounded the tree and edges of the pond around it. Thin long bamboo bridges connected the houses and the tree, making it easier for people to travel around.
The escort lead them on one of the bridges heading towards the main tree surrounded by the glistening clear waters. Shinju looked up at the tree's branches the small glimmering rays of the sun fighting the abundant leaves to shed through the girl's eyes reflecting the scenery above her and she gulped with worry. <The sun....doesn't shine here. Can outsiders like us survive in the shade of a tree?> she thought then focused her eyes on her sensei, who was chatting with the guard to know more about the tree and village.
The wooden bridge road stretched towards the main kage's castle. The castle wasn't really a castle though. it was modest and made of wood unlike the fortified castle seen in Higakure.
But after all the village was hidden so well, that building defenses were the least of their problems. So their structures weren't made to be as sturdy or fancy.
"Welcome to Takigakure. You are the one they sent to fill in the ambassador position. Is that correct?" A man with long black hair tied into a braid and glasses, spoke writing down some notes.

"Yes. Haru of the Karo clan and this is ....Shinju..." the woman spoke, pausing, knowing very well Shinju didn't belong to a clan. So she added "Shinju of the Karo clan as well"
Shinju smiled at her sensei and bowed politely to greet him.
"Perfect. I am Saito. I work as the Kage's assitant" The man introduced himself with a slight head bow then motioned with his hand to the maids, who approached them taking the luggage from their entourage.
"Shinju you go with them and get settled in your room and make sure our stuff are safe. I need to report to their leader" Haru patted Shinju on the head and followed Saito down the hall.
