My friend asked, "Why do we have crushes?"
Maybe because it was 12 midnight that I was thinking of this explanation.
You know how there is one person out there made for you?
That one person you'll either meet or don't in your life?
The one who can and will change everything?
I'm thinking that crushes are basically candidates or one of those people that are made for us.
But they don't make it to the next level.
Why?
Because we aren't their candidates or one of their 'the one'.
Because if we are, we might just actually find the right one.
Things might end up right and things might not.
But this amuses me that there are people out there, more than one that are made for us.
Just we aren't made for them is the devasting plot hole.
That is why crushes exist.
My theory anyways.
