Dream watched as George fumbled with the tie he'd let him borrow. The brunette squinted his eyebrows as he pulled on the fabric, struggling to loop it correctly.

"Let me help," Dream said, stepping forward, pushing George's hands down gently.

"Thanks," George said, allowing his head to droop down in relief. "I just don't get these things."

"This last part is the tricky part," Dream muttered as he twisted the fabric, pulling the end through the loop. "There."

Dream patted George gently on the chest, smiling as George sucked in a breath of air. After a moment, Dream stepped back to admire his handiwork.

Wow... all he could see was George. George's timid eyes, glancing up at him. The way George clutched his arms around each other tightly, his breathing shallow. George's suit: a beautiful baby blue ensemble that had felt so smooth when his hand had run over it. George's soft gaze.

And of course, the dark green tie Dream had fixed for him, that hung loosely around his neck.

"Perfect."

George's face turned a bright cherry red, and Dream couldn't help but laugh. George gets flustered over the smallest of things.

George coughed nervously, turning away from Dream.

"Yeah, um, sure. Shouldn't we be getting to the ceremony by now? We're the last one's in here."

Dream glanced around. The rest of the groomsmen had gotten to the dressing room early to get ready, but Dream and George had been stuck hanging up decorations and having guests sign the guest book. George had taken his role seriously, making sure to ask everyone who entered to scribble down their name and well wishes for the couple.

"Yeah, let's head out," Dream responded.

Dream left first, walking out into the hallway and catching Drista's eye, who began beckoning him over.

Dream glanced over his shoulder with a wide smile. "Alright George, show time."

George gulped.

"Hi!" Drista whispered once the duo had walked over. A small group of everyone in the wedding were gathered by the door, waiting for their turn down the aisle. Soft hymnal music drifted from the speakers.

"Hey," Dream whispered back, glancing inconspicuously through the entrance to see the crowded room of guests. I hope George isn't too anxious with all of this.  "How much longer until it starts?"

The music came to an end, and a startling silence took over. Drista smirked, turning back to Dream.

"Right now slowpoke."

Once Dream's step-dad had made his way to the altar, it was Drista's turn. She made her way down the aisle tossing the flowers into the audience with great flourish. Dream couldn't help but chuckle. He was surprised his sister had agreed to be the flower girl considering she was nearly fourteen, but she didn't seem to mind.

Next, the rest of the groomsmen and bridesmaids walked down the aisle, side by side. Dream was relaxed waiting for their turn, but he quickly recognized that George had tensed up. He quite honestly looked like he was going to pass out.

Comfort him. But don't push him out of his comfort zone.

"Hey," Dream whispered, brushing their fingers together and taking George's hand in his own. George's eyes clamped shut as he let out a small whimper. "It's going to be fine. I promise."

"Here George," a voice came from behind them. Dream turned to see his mom, all dressed up in a long and flowy white wedding dress. "Take these flowers, we had an extra bouquet."
