Chapter two: G.U.N invsation

A month has passed; Maria and Shadow couldn't be any happier with their new baby brother, Sonic.Right now the three friends are at the window seal looking at the earth. Maria was sitting down and Shadow was standing up while holding Sonic. Sonic was admiring how colorful the earth is,how pretty the earth is. Sonic gigglied,looked at Shadow, and pointed at earth. Shadow and Maria could help chuckle.

Shadow’s pov

We were all looking at the earth when Sonic was giggling,pointing at the earth while looking at me. I put a small smile on my face and I walked closer to the glass. Sonic put his tiny hands on the glass and laughed some more. Looked at me with his big green eyes and back at earth. “That's earth,” I said. Sonic looked at me and said “wearth”. I couldn't help but chuckle. I shook my head and said “No sonic earth”. Sonic tried again and Said “earth”. “That's right Sonic”. I started tickling him as he started laughing. Maria walked up to me and said “ you're a great big brother” smiling. I looked up to her “thanks I try to be the best big brother to him”. We looked at sonic to see he fell asleep. We smiled but suddenly the alarms went off. Sonic woke up scared,he started to cry. I tried my best to calm him down. “Shh shh it's okay shh” I said to comfort him but it wasn't working. The professor ran to us. “Maria,Shadow the government is attacking. Shadow takes Maria and Sonic to the escape pods” Gerold said. “What about you grandfather?” Maria said scared. “I'm going to distract them. Just run and don't look back no matter what happens. Now go” We gave a nod. I grabbed Maria's hand, had a strong hold on sonic and we ran. As we ran down the hallway I heard footsteps. I turned my head and saw the attackers running towards us. I stopped, handed Sonic(who was still crying) to Maria. I run to the attacker and punch them to the ground. I held Maira’s hand again and ran. Just when we made it to the escape room the attackers bursted through the door.Maria Pushed me into one of the pods. I tried to break out but I couldn't. Just before Maria could put Sonic in the second pod,one of the attackers grabbed her and took Sonic from her. “Nooo”! We screamed as the
soldier that had sonic walked off. “Marwa, Shada” Sonic screamed as he tried to reach us. It broke my heart as I couldn't see him anymore. Bang. I turned around and saw that Maria was shot. “Maria” I shouted. She weakly stood up, had her hand on the lever and then looked at me. “Listen, Shadow. I want you to promise me... please”. ''No, wait!” I yelled. Maria kept talking but I didn't lesion as I tried to break the pod. The final words I heard maira say were Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog. As my pad falls to earth the ark was getting far away,my family.
