Chapter Seven

“Im pregnant.” I repeat to Kirsten as we sit in Chandler and my room. I was just barely released from the hospital, Dr. Moore nicely agreed to let me go early. We had made it to Mrs. Goldsworths familys house, they own a huge mansion bed and breakfast, and it’s breathtaking. Everything is as how it would appear on a telly program. Apprently her family owns a lot of the snowy land up here, everyone is here except Mr. Goldsworth who had some work things to finish, and he would be arriving Christmas morning.

“I am so happy for you, even though my brother acts like an idiot he’ll be a great father.” She says opposite of what I’d expected.

“Really?” I ask feeling my eyes stinging with more tears.

“Oh don’t cry Tash,” she says hugging me and rubbing my arm.

“Im not ready to be a mother Kirs, I can barely maintain myself and a husband, but a baby, I can’t do this.” Words fall from my mouth, the doctor warned me about things like this, mood swings, swollen feet, sore breast, morning sickness, forgetfulness, and always being tired.

“Stop being so hard on yourself, you have a lot of time to prepare, he said your only five weeks into it, that’s one month and a week, you have nine months to plan.” Kirsten is normally very realistically negative and straightforward, so I consider it a good mood that’ll wear off soon.

“Some of my favorite ladies.” Chandler says entering without knocking; he obviously never really got over our dumb petty disagreement.

“What do you want man whore?” Kirsten asks crossing her arms.

“Tasha, mom wants you to meet our cousins.” He says knowing I hate being called Tasha aslo ignoring Kirsten. I wipe the tears off my face as I follow Chandler outside of my room.

“Why the hell are you crying? Now people will think it’s my fault.” He says still sounding sick.

“I um I um umm I fell.” I lie, he doesn’t know me well anough to determine whether if I’m lying or not.

“Shouldn’t be so damn clumsy, it’s dangerous.” We walk into a long Corridor then to the kitchen.

“Natasha.” A woman about Mrs. Goldsorth’s age says bright and happily as she sees me. “Your gergeous, wow Chandler has been hiding this gem from us.” She says smiling warmly

“Hi sweetheart! Feeling better? You were crying. Whats wrong?” Mrs. Goldsworth asks wrapping me in a giant bear hug. Chandler scowls, such a stupid jerk!

“Nothing.” I say closing my eyes threatening to cry, damn these hormones.

“Chandler what’s wrong? What did you do?” his mom asks

“Nothing mom why don’t you ask her, she wouldn’t even tell me.” He says obviously annoyed.

“I’m fine just please don’t worry about me.” I meekly grab Chandlers arm and hid behind it wiping my fresh shed tears so no one sees.

“Chandler!” An annoying voice yells, I turn and see a blonde girl she has a horrible fake tan and just looks bad all together.

“Hi Melanie.” He says somewhat flicking me off as she runs and jumps into his arms. I clear my throat.

“Melanie this is my beautiful wife Tasha.” He says sarcastically, as he puts his arms around me and sloppily kisses my forehead just to bother me.

“It’s Natasha actually.” I say fakely going to shake her hand but instead she hugs

“You’re family now girl don’t be shy.”

“She is beautiful indeed.” I hear a deep male voice say, a tall dark haired green-eyed man walks into the scene. My eyes wander to his face immediately.
