As I was walking alone down the streets of Tusla passing though crowds of Greasers and Socs.
A group of Soc girls looked at me and started laughing whispering. Right then I was wishing I was with the gang, So I wouldn't feel so self conscious.
I tried to ignore them but I notice they were following me. I knew they weren't gonna jump me or anything, Soc girls were to scared to pick a fight with Greaser girls but, They weren't afraid to shame greasers for having a less fortune life than them.
As I was walking someone pulled the hood of my sweater causing me to tilt back, I nearly fell but caught my balance.
The soc girls laughed.
"Nice sweater, did you get that from the dumpster?" The blonde hair socs snarled.
I didn't say anything and just stood there embarrassing.
"She probably did, she looks like shit!" The Burnette soc laughed.
I was trying to think of someone smart to say to them, but nothing came to mind.
"Do you talk?" She rudely asked I looked down to my dirty white shoes feeling my ears get hot.
"I bet she can't, remember people like her are to stupid to talk."
"Maybe it's because she can't speak idiot!" I male voice said suddenly. I turned to see it was Twobit.
"Excuse me?" The girl gasped.
"You heard me." Twobit winked at me. I couldn't help but smile.
"Well then how can you speak to us?"
"Because I am also an idiot. Which means I can speak your language." Twobit batted his eyes innocently.
"Come one Y/N, we have better things to do tan to fight with these no good bitches." Twobit grabbed my hand and we both walked away leaving the girls angry.
We couldn't help but laugh.
"Thanks Twobit." I smiled
"Anytime kid. Just next time ignore those girls alright? People who do those things only do it because they got nothing better to do" Twobit messed with my hair.
After that we had went to get some food.
*sorry for the short chapter, I know the come back Twobit mad was stupid, it's because I couldn't come up with anything but you know.*
