Dawns Pov :

"Wow, I never thought Thats how i would meet darkrai again". I said.

"Yeah", Ash replied

"Ash are you okay?",

"What do you mean?",

"Normally you would reply in a more excited tone, something like, YEAH, THAT WAS AWESOME",

"That impression is spot on", Goh chimed in, Chuckling.

"Sorry I got distracted by a cool pokemon", Ash said once more in a deadpan tone.

"Well that Didn't last long", I remarked, he's a bit more bakc to normal now but still something feels off, He's too calm.

"wahhhh Im really sleepy, Its a long way back to the city, Lets camp for Tonight, Pikachu's hungry too",

I felt inclined to ask him more but Camping didnt actually sound that bad,

Just like old times Hmm? I smiled to myself.

We set up camp there. Koharu was pretty tired as well. I had been travelling by myself before this and it was reassuring to have Ash near me again.

i feel a sense of safety whenever im near him.

Come to think of it, Its always been like that, Ash always had my back, Through thick and thin. Everyday we supported eachother, He even entered a few contests to motivate me.

Hes always been very passionate, about his dreams, his pokemon and his friends.

Fear, Excitement, confidence, a sense of achievement, all these were things i felt everyday as i travelled with him.

As i recalled those comforting memories I made with him my eyelids grew heavy and i drifted off to sleep.
