"You six are the only ones they sent?"
"Yeah, what about it?" A chunin with brown hair adjusted his glasses.
"No, it's just that...." Shikamaru sighed. "Kakashi died to him."
"Don't get too cocky, brats," the brown haired Jounin, Arita smirked. "We still have more experience than you."
"Please do not underestimate us," another Jounin with black hair, Kaoru said.
"I just joined this squad recently so I don't have much experience....I apologise if I will be a hindrance," A woman with short auburn hair, Ohashi bowed nervously.
"Well you just need to watch," the brown haired Jounin smirked.
"The name's Shikamaru Nara, and I'll be discussing the plans and all we learnt about the Yoneda and his companion with you," Shikamaru said.
"Sakura Haruno, leader of Team Sakura," Sakura introduced herself.
"Shino Aburame, leading Kiba Inuzuka and Hinata Hyuga in this mission," Shino said.
"Got it, got it," Arita rolled his eyes.
"This will be troublesome..." Shikamaru muttered under his breath.
"Here."
Naruto nodded, taking the onigiri that Shinji handed over to him. "You're much quieter now."
"Why, you like me louder?" Shinji gave him a teasing grin.
"Shut up," Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Well then, onii-chan will fulfill your request!" Shinji laughed before leaping onto Naruto, the blonde swiftly dodging as Shinji rolled into the bushes.
A small smirk on his lips, Naruto's head turned back to see Shinji's pouting face.
"OHH- OHH!!!" Shinji yelled, scurrying over to Naruto. "You- you-"
"I what?" Naruto rose his eyebrows.
"YOU SMILED!"
Naruto blinked. "What....?"
"WHAT A RARE SIGHT TO WITNESS!!!"
"Shut up already."
"MY DEAREST OTOUTO SMILED!!!!"
"SHUT UP!"
They fell silent.
Naruto's eyes narrowed. "What now?"
"Anything you say," Shinji smiled.
"I mean, you're the big bROtHeR," Naruto rolled his eyes.
Shinji laughed lightly. "Alright, alright, since my dear otouto loves me so much.....hmmm......"
His eyes faintly glowed red as he smiled.
"We kill them all."
"Sai, what are you doing?" Sakura asked.
"Preparing for battle," Sai faked a smile as he rolled his scroll close.
Sakura nodded.
Sasuke narrowed his eyes at Sai.
"Aren't you excited?" Shinji asked.
"Why would I be?" Naruto asked, eyes trailing over to Shinji.
"I mean, this is our first actual battle where we fight together against the Konoha Shinobi," Shinji smiled, stretching.
"It's no different from our previous ones..." Naruto muttered.
"And it may very well be the last," Shinji sighed happily.
"What...?" Naruto glanced at him.
"That was a joke," Shinji laughed lightly. "Laugh!"
Naruto rolled his eyes.
"You have no sense of humour," Shinji sighed.
"Your humour isn't even humour," Naruto scoffed.
"Mean," Shinji pouted. "Anyways, up, up!"
"How are we gonna kill them?" Naruto asked.
"What do you mean?" Shinji blinked.
"Like, don't you have a plan or something?" Naruto asked.
"I don't," Shinji laughed lightly. "I always think of a plan in the middle of battle, either that or, I just slaughter them all."
Naruto stared at him before sighing. "I guess you do have that kind of power."
"I mean...." Shinji shrugged with an innocent smile.
"They're weak."
