Sometimes Conner wonder what would happen if Matt still alive. Would his mom still accept him or do the same like Superman the first time he know about him? If not how would Matt gonna react if he know about him could he accept him? Would his sister accept him? Would both of them love him like right now too? There's many questions in his mind but only they could answer it.
Just like one of those night when he have those thinking Conner couldn't sleep well. He would goes to their balcony and take a look around Metropolis. Sometimes fly around Metropolis in aimless and be back by morning. This is just another night where he decide to just stay on balcony instead. "Still can't sleep?" ask a female voice. Conner didn't notice Mira presence and quite surprise. No matter how she always manage to surprise him with her sudden presence. "No" said Conner.
Just then a cup of warm milk are right in front of him. "This could help to sleep better or you could talk about it. You have something bothering your mind. If you think we didn't notice that lately you go out late night and come in morning with haggard eyes then you wrong. We did notice but we wanna give you some space until you would talk about it to one of us. I know despite you didn't really get tired like humans you would still tired since you have fairy blood. Fairy does feel tired unlike kryptonite" said Mira with smile. Both of them stay silent "I was wondering you know, if Matt still alive would we live differently? Would you guys accept me? I'm not like Matt who is kind and patient. When we meet I still a hot-headed boy. It just bugging me since Matt's anniversary death almost near. Mom look more sad and daydreaming" said Conner
"Well that's probably about cafe. The cafe face a bit problem recently. Mom may distract with that problem but that doesn't mean she won't notice anything with her children. A mother are more sharp sometimes when it about their children" said Mira "Since you adopt a kid you become more mature huh?" said Conner with a smirk "Hey! What do you mean by that? I'm always more mature than you" said Mira with pout. Conner just laugh "By the way, how's the kid? You bring him here today right?" ask Conner
"Yep. He could finally get out the hospital on this evening. Poor that boy. Got experiments just because he isn't human. The trauma he might face would be severe. Luckily he could somehow calm with us" said Mira "maybe because you save him? Like how I trust them when they help me escape from Cadmus" said Conner "Glad to hear that. Sorry we found out about you a bit late" said Mira "it's not you guys who's at fault. You guys don't know" said Conner
"Conner look I don't know what it would be like if Matt alive but one thing we sure is we would accept you no matter what because we are family. Family should stick together like how Batfamily do. You have seen them right? They might fight, have different opinions and personalities but if one of them is harmed by someone or something they would stick together. That's how family is. No matter how horrible you are we would accept you no matter what " said Mira
