SUMMARY

Rosalie Rosmerta had never expected her mother to actually ship her off to her aunt's home - or flat above the inn that Auntie Raisa run. It had been threatened many times before, so much so that it's status as a punishment had dwindled to an incredibly low status. 

That was until she returned home after several days out to find her bags already packed and the room she once lived in empty. Her mother was apparating with her to Hogsmeade that day, and there she was to stay. 

Which was how Rosalie ended up as a waitress and bartender in the Three Broomsticks, staying in a small room above the inn, spending her days in the rural Scottish Highlands rather than muggle London, where all the fun had been.

Until she met a group of wizards who changed her perception of that.

NOTES

All rights to the Harry Potter universe and (most) things inside of it go to J.K. Rowling. However, I do own this plot, my own characters and anything inside of the plot which is non-canon.

I was somewhat confused by Madam Rosmerta's name, seeing as other characters with 'Madam' usually in front of it (e.g. Madam Pomfrey) all have first names as well. I've taken it as a Tonks situation, meaning that she prefers her last name to her first, so I've given her the first name of Raisa - keeping with the 'R' theme of the family and I do love the name but she doesn't and so goes by her last name.

I hope that wasn't confusing, enjoy!
