Notes:
Henry doesn't remember fails and alternate endings in this book (Even though my headcanons say otherwise) and nobody else knows about the fails and endings too

Death and gore is included, skip the first part of this chapter if you don't want to read that
Henry's POV
When the General came in the next morning, I gave him my answer...
Decline
"Why should I help you guys, you kidnapped me just to take down some guys you couldn't take down yourself and now you expect me to just help you?" I told the general
"Very well" Galeforce smirked and gave a hand signal to his comrade near the door
The restraints around me suddenly but slowly tightened more, I felt the metal cut through my skin on the parts I didn't have cybernetics and blood poured out of the cuts
"That answers my question then" I managed to think as the pain increased "I die, but at least I know the answer to my question."
After what felt like forever, the restraints had stopped tightening and what was left was me laying there, limp and dead with my limbs holding on barely.

When the General came in the next morning, I gave him my answer...

"As much as I don't want to, I don't have much choice do I," I sighed to the General's pleasure
"Well, you chose the right option didn't you" Galeforce smiled, gave a signal to his comrade who responded by clicking a button near the door which opened the restraints "Just remember, don't-" he glared, being cut off by me
"Don't try anything funny, I know, classic 'talking to the enemy who you have in your hold' talk" I rolled my eyes, holding my wrists which were aching from being held for so long.
"You remember Charlie don't you? Well, you and him will be working together once again to take down the remaining Toppat clan. I'll bring him in for you guys to have a chat" The general told me, bringing out a walkie talkie and calling for Charles

After what felt like forever (only 5 minutes) a familiar person with red headphones walked through the door
"You called General?" he asked
"Yes, you remember Henry don't you Charlie? You guys will be working together once again to bring down the toppats" the general repeated what he has said to me to Charles. When the General mentioned him working with me, I was surprised to see him happy about it instead of having a displeased reaction like I expected
"You can count on us General, we won't let you down" Charles saluted with a childish huge grin, his optimism making me give a small smile
"You can never seem to get rid of his cheerful and childish personality," I thought to myself.
"Is there any information that we can go off?
"The only thing we know about them is that lots had escaped when the airship crashed, barely anyone was on board and everyone who was on board has either died or were close to death, only one person actually survived besides yourself," Galeforce explained
"Who survived?" I asked
"Dave, I think you remember him, he was a prisoner at the airship for ages and beforehand you encountered him at the prison and at the museum," he informed
"Oh, I remember him, nice to know he survived," I stated
"We'll tell you when we get any information about them, in the meantime, why not catch up on some things with Charlie here" Galeforce suggested, leaving the room.
