Panchito was with Arista.
"My father never lets me up here. So I have to sneak" said Arista.
"Why must your father decide your way" said Panchito.
"Because he is the sea king and I must obey his rules" said Arista.
"Arista. Never let anyone decide your future. You live your own life and you decide what to do" said Panchito.
Arista smiled.
"Panchito! Come on, amigo! We gotta go!" Sam said.
"And hurry!" said Donald.
"Caramba. Something must be wrong" said Panchito.
"Then you better go. If it's a rehearsal, you must be there. I wish you luck" said Arista.
"Gracias, Arista. I will see you tonight" said Panchito.
He joined the other three.
"Come on, Panchito. We NEED to do some extra rehearsing." said Jose.
"What is this about?" said Panchito.
"Marilyn Manson wants us to compete against him in a singing contest" Sam said.
"And if we lose, he'll torture us" said Donald.
"Aye caramba" said Panchito.
"So we have to practice through days and nights if we have to" said Jose.
"But I told Arista I would see her tonight" said Panchito.
"Sorry, Panchito. But our top priority is wiping that creepy goth smirk off Manson's face" Sam said.
Panchito looked back at the sea.
"We are very sorry, amigo. But we fear you will not be seeing your mermaid for a long time" said Jose.
Panchito turned around fast and walked toward the hotel.
In the sea...
"Isn't it romantic, girls? While I was up there I met the dashing Four Caballeros. And their drummer is SO handsome" said Arista.
"Yeah, he's cute and all, but you're forgetting something" said Atina.
"What?" said Arista.
"He's a rooster. On legs. You know what that means" said Andrina.
"Our love is... forbidden?" said Arista.
"Bingo" said Adella.
"A forbidden love. How romantic" said Arista.
"You think that now, but if Daddy finds out, he's not gonna even let you out of the castle" said Aquata.
"But Panchito said that if I have a life, I can decide what to do" said Arista.
"He's not royalty is he?" said Alanna.
"He doesn't know what he's talking about" said Atina.
"You said all this about Ariel and look where that got her!" said Arista.
"Well, we can't lose another sister" said Andrina.
Arista burst in tears and swam away.
