Chapter 5

"Well, if they ask for another concert, we are going to have to start practicing" said Jose.

"Good idea" Sam said.

As they left, Panchito saw Arista sitting on her favorite rock.

"Panchito. You coming, amigo?" said Donald.

"Uh... how about you three start without me?" said Panchito.

The others reluctantly agreed and Panchito ran to the edge of the ocean.

Arista saw him and sat on a rock that was closer to the edge.

"Hello" she said.

"Hola, young mermaid" said Panchito.

"Hola?"

"Oh, right. You see, I come from Mexico" said Panchito.

"Ooh. That sounds wonderful" said Arista.

"Oh, yes." said Panchito.

"I'm Arista."

"I am Panchito"

"You look very nice, Panchito" said Arista.

"Well, gracias. I always wear this outfit when I am on stage" said Panchito.

"You sing?" said Arista.

"Occasionally. I mostly play the drums for my band, the Four Caballeros" said Panchito.

"Oh! You're one of them?" said Arista.

"Si, si. Are you a fan?" said Panchito.

"Yes! I know all of your songs" said Arista.

"Very good" said Panchito. 

"Panchito! Come on! We can't rehearse without you" said Donald.

"Caramba! I am late. I must go" said Panchito.

"I understand" said Arista.

"It was very nice to meet you, young Arista" said Panchito.

"Will I see you again?" said Arista.

"Oh, I will see you after rehearsal. Just be here" said Panchito.

"I will, Panchito. I will" said Arista.
