The three girls spent the day just as Madison said, soaking up the SoCal sunshine. After meeting at Starbucks they spent the day at the mall then camped out on the beach for the afternoon.

Callie was laying on her stomach on a towel reading a magazine when she got a text from Blake.

DJ says you’re on the beach. I’m jealous!

Callie looked over at Madison who was grinning at her phone like a schoolgirl. Callie rolled her eyes and shook her head.

“Makes you sick doesn’t it? I keep telling her after we get Jess married we should start planning hers,” Samantha smirked.

“Oh she won’t be too far behind,” Callie said matter of fact.

She looked back down at her phone and took a picture of herself. She was still just as tan as she was the day she left and her bright pink bikini definitely accentuated it. Of course in the picture all you could see was her face and her bikini top. Deciding to be as brave as the front she put on she sent Blake the picture.

“Just so you know, you’re doing it too,” Samantha laughed.

“What?” Callie asked looking over at her.

“You’re just as smitten as she is,” Samantha said gesturing toward Madison. “You’re definitely not ready for a big commitment with him, but you can’t deny there are some pretty real feelings there,”

Callie sighed and laid her head down on her arms looking over at Samantha. Truth be told she was right. She just wasn’t ready to admit it to anyone. She had just barely started admitting it to herself.

“You don’t have to tell me I’m right and I can understand you not wanting to say anything in front of loud mouth over there, but do yourself a favor and don’t run from it or try to sabotage it. Go with it,” Samantha smiled. “You’ll be glad you did,”

“Or heartbroken wishing I wouldn’t have,” Callie sighed.

Samantha shook her head. Hopefully Callie would give in before Blake gave up.

Callie’s phone vibrated against her arm. She grabbed it seeing Blake had texted her back and it was a picture. She was almost scared to look. She opened the text and about dropped her phone. It was Blake shirtless in a pair of basketball shorts sitting on a chair in what looked like a locker room. He had clearly either just worked out or had taken a shower and not dried off all the way because there were water droplets running down his abs.

She swallowed hard remembering the night in Vegas where she was up close and personal with those abs.

Two can play that game ;)

Callie laughed. He was right two definitely could play that game.

Someone needs to bring you a towel. Don’t you have people that get paid to do that??

That’s what I have you for. It would keep your smart mouth busy....
