After "Face Down" I promised I would write another story inspired on a song, same format, with the same intent: prevent abusive relationships.

This time I have based it on the song Hate Me by Blue October. This time I've made it from the POV of the abuser. Even if he loves her, it's still absuive, it is still toxic and I'm a firmer believer that society pushes us to believe love can fix it all, love is all what we need and we deceive ourselves to sacrifice ourselves for love until we lose ourselves. I think self-respect is more important than love. I think tolerance is more important than love. And I firmly believe that a relationship needs more than just love to work out. Love is not enough and it'll never be. Don't let fairy tales, pop songs and social constructions fool you. Be clever, be sensible.

Once again, the characters are nameless to prove this could happen to anyone.

I hope you enjoy it.

Bel, xx
