History: The Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts was founded in 1930 by Rick Livingstone, one of the most famous actors of the time, to serve as a platform for young wizards and witches who desired to pursue a theatrical career. The school is in London, somewhere near Strand Street. The entrance to this school is interesting, as you have to say a line of famous film dialogue before you are allowed to enter. At present, the Headmistress of the school is Harvina Warbeck, the cousin of Celestina Warbeck. Under her command, the school has achieved a lot and has begun maintaining cordial relationships with Muggle dramatic groups. Professor Herbert Beery began teaching at the Academy after leaving the post of Herbology Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Curriculum: There are six years of courses provided at this school; after these courses, the graduate is given the opportunity to participate in dramatic performances. The school boasts of a huge auditorium that can house more than five thousand people at one time, which is roughly modelled after The Globe.

Known Students: Four graduates of W.A.D.A. named Beckett, Virginia, Samuel, and Darby put on free puppet shows based on Beedle the Bard's The Tale of the Three Brothers and The Fountain of Fair Fortune at Carkitt Market during the late 1990s.
