I got off the subway and looked around for Jessica. Ugh, where is she??

"ALLEY. ALLLLLLEEEYYYYYY!" I heard from behind me. I turned around and saw Jessica hopping up and down and waving. I laughed and walked over and hugged her. With our busy schedules we hardly saw each other. Even though our apartments were just two blocks away from each other. I was working as a journalist in New York and she was a dancer on Broadway. She always loved dance. It was Thanksgiving time and we were going home for the holiday. I was going to ber house on account of my family would be going to my grammas in Alabama and I didn't want to go all the way to Alabama..

"Ready for the road trip?" Jessica asked.

"Oh yes I am dying to spend 15 hours in a car." I said rolling my eyes.

"C'mon. My cars right outside." she smiled. I grabbed my bags and we left.

The car ride was long and cramped, traffic was horrible and our crap took up almost the whole car which left hardly any leg room. Before we went to her house we went to the hotel we would all be staying in and unpacked. We were happy when we got to her parents house. Ben's car was already there (he was going to Harvard to become a lawyure) and Tony's car was there but he was still living at home and he was going to U of M to be a teacher. There was another car there but I wasn't sure who's it was.

Ben ran out of the house and hugged Jessica then hugged me.

"Woah look how big you've gotten." I said smiling, "How's my big bad lawyure doing?"

"Good and you?" he smiled.

"Mm, I've been good." He laughed and we went inside.

When we got inside a guy and a girl were sitting at the counter laughing. Who.. I gasped. Joe. I gave Jessica a glare, she hadn't told me He was coming. Who was the girl? She had blonde wavy hair and had long legs. She was wearing bootcut jeans and a black North Face jacket, and some tennis shoes. Joe looked up from the counter and looked me straight in the eye and I melted. I hadn't seen him since that day at Jessica's..

"Alley?" Joe stood up immediately. He walked over to me and hugged me, "Look at you! You look great!" He smiled, "I haven't seen you in so long how are you doing.." I saw Jessica give a little smirk and start talking to her parents.

"Oh um, I've been good thanks. Yeah you look great too!" I smiled.

The blonde haired girl walked over to us and looked up at Joe and back to me.

"Oh! Um Alley, this is my fiance Chelsea." he said wrapping his arm around her. I think I felt my heart shatter.

"FIANCE!!!" Jessica yelled walking to Joe.

"Yeah Jess, sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you.."

"Fiance- you guys are getting..oh God I need a breather..." That's how I was feeling too.. She walked off outside and I followed her.

"Alley I am SO sorry..if I would've known I would of.." she balled her fists and I sat down next to her.

"It's okay.." I whispered. I felt tears begin in my eyes and knew I couldn't go back in there.

"Thanksgiving isn't for two days.." I said, "Erm maybe I should stay at the hotel for a while.."

"No." Jessica said, "We'll go shopping or something I'm not leaving you alone in a time like this.." Ben came outside and sat next to me then.

"Alley, I'm sorry." he said.

"Why is everyone sorry?! That was like 6 years ago!" I stood up and walked away tears falling from my eyes. And for a second I felt like I was back in my 9th grade body. Cheated on, and confused.
