11 camping alone

We left for the campground at 2, so we should end up ther around 4:30 or 5. I sat in the front because Jessica and Ben might distract him with a fight, or something. And obviously he wanted me to sit there anyway. On the way there we listened to the best radio station around 107.2 The Jamz. It was the most amazing station because, they don't overplay songs, they have newer songs and they play all kinds of music. 
We were halfway there when I decided the radio wasn't loud enough. I cranked it up 5 notches and we could feel the bass thumping. I gasped. 
"What?" Joe asked, worriedly. 
"I lovve this song!" I exclaimed. Rihanna- We Found Love was playing. He smiled at me and grabbed my hand. Ben gasped. 
"Oh shut up Ben." Jessica said. 
"We found love in a hopeless place, we foud love in a hopeless place we found love in a HOPEless place." I sang. 
"Shine a light through an open door Love and life I will divide Turn away cause I need you more Feel the heartbeat in my mind." Joe sang. I smiled and at the stop sign he leaned over to kiss me. 
"Oh god.." Ben said. 

When we got to the cabin it was 5:15. And the sky was just getting reddish. 
"Its so pretty out here." I sighed getting my bag out of the trunk. 
"Not as perdy as you." Joe blushed taking my bag. 
"Aw." I said. I helped Jessica and Ben carry their bags in and then we all went outside and started a fire in the fire place. 
"Fireworks should start any minute." Jessica said. 
"Oh yeah!" I said. All throughout July and August people set off fireworks near the campsite over the water. About ten minutes later Logan walked over. Jessica stood up. 
"Logan, hi. I didn't know you were here.." Jessica said. 
"Oh uh yeah I got here yesterday haha.." he said. 
"Um..wanna watch fireworks with us?" I said after the silence for three minutes. 
"Sure." he smiled and sat down by Jessica. 
The fireworks didn't start till 7, but that was fine because we were having a good time just hanging out and laughing. The first ones were just green and purple, but then they began to alternate colors. 
"They're so cool." Logan said. 
"And pretty." Jessica said. 
"I'm bored." said Ben. 
"Ugh." Joe said,"Are you never satisfied?" I laughed a little bit. Then Joey took my hand and walked me to the ledge by the water that he had jumped off last time we were there. He was wearing tan shorts and black converse, I was wearing white short shorts and pink converse. Wee sat so our feet were hanging off the ledge, intertwined. I smiled down at our feet. He grinned. 
"What?" he asked smiling. 
"Nothing..our feet are just so cute together." I replied smiling back. I leaned my head on his chest and he put his arm around me tighter. 
"Agreed, I think they've been longing for each other.." he said. I laughed and then just listened to his heartbeat. I could bear Jessica and Logan laughing down by the water and crickets chirping. It was amazing. 
"Alley?" Joe said. 
"Hm?" 
"I..love you. I love you." he said. I sat up for a second to look at him. He stared into my eyes and he took my hand and placed it on his chest. 
"It beats for you." he whispered. 
"I love you too." I said, reaching my hand to touch his cheek. I leaned into kiss him. 
"I'm yours, forever." he said. I smiled at him. 
"Promise?" I asked. 
"Pinky promise." He twisted his pinky with mine and kissed me again. 

At 9:30 we were all pretty tired and decided to head in. When we walked in we came to a dilemma.
"There is only two rooms." Jessica said. She was right. One room had a king sized bed and the other had bunk beds. Uh oh I thought. 
"Plus the couch." Ben pointed out. 
"Erm..I'll sleep on the couch.." Joey said. I nodded and bit my lip. Then we all got ready. I said goodnight to everyone and layed down in the king sized bed. Its so empty.. I thought. I layed there for a moment and knew that this was not the right way to sleep. 
I walked into the living room and sat on the coffee table for a minute. Joey's breathing was beginning to slow down when I put my hand on his chest. He opened his eyes. 
"You don't need to sleep out here. Come sleep in my bed." I said closing my eyes. He sat up. 
"Are you sure?" he asked in a tired voice. 
"I wouldn't ask if I wasn't." I took his hand and led him to the bedroom. I sat on the bed and patted the spot next to me. He crawled on and sat for a minute. I looked at him and he was already looking at me and I knew where it was heading, and my lips and his were together in an instant. I slipped his shirt off and unbuttoned two of the buttons on my shirt while he was still kissing me. He layed down and pulled me with him. 
"Alley." he whispered. His lips touching my ear. He ran his hands up and down my back like always and I kept my arms around him. Then he pulled away. 
"Hm, goodnight Al." he rolled over and pretended to snore. I laughed and pulled my pillow close to his. He flipped over and put his arms around me. 
"Thank you for making this the best night, even with our clothes on." he whispered in my ear as I fell asleep. I smiled. Glad he didn't need my shirt off to have a better view of my heart.
