Who knew one call could change everything. In a world where Carlos isn't a cop and TK's a paramedic. The 126 get called by the cops to an abuse call, TK finds something surprising and if you want to know, read to find out.
I love the weekend, it's my favorite part of the week, this one is different though because I have a newfound housemate that needs to open up to me. When I get up and walk to my kitchen, Carlos is already up and making a cup of coffee.
"Mornin'," I greet
"Good morning," Carlos says quietly
"I think we should take this weekend to really get to know each other since you've been spending a lot of time in little space," I say
"O-okay," Carlos replies
"Great, now what do you want for breakfast?" I ask
"I-I don't know, I don't really eat when I'm big," Carlos replies shakily
"We'll start with something easy, I'm gonna make some eggs and you don't have to eat all of it if you don't want to, just a little bit," I say
Carlos nods his head and jumps up on the counter. I get the carton of eggs out of the fridge and Carlos starts talking.
"He wouldn't let me eat, if I asked he would hit me and call me fat, I have anxiety the kind that's not technically diagnosed. I never learned how to drive, I've never had a job, all I know is I graduated high school. The only touch I would get was a beating-" I cut Carlos off and turn to him
Carlos has tears running down his face. I walk over to the counter and wrap him in my arms.
"It's okay, you don't have to talk anymore if you don't want," I tell Carlos and kiss his head
I fill our plates with the eggs and we eat in silence until Carlos speaks up.
"Can we watch movies and cuddle today?" He asks
"Honey, of course, we can, you don't need to ask," I reply
We migrate to the couch and lay like this and watch movies all day long, stopping every once in a while to get food or go to the bathroom.
