(Your POV)

We are back at Bobby's, looking through piles of books trying to find some lore on angels. I can still not believe what had happened the night before... an angel had rescued Dean. Bobby is sitting at his desk with a pile of books in front of him. Sam is sitting in a chair in the opposite corner talking to Dean, who is standing. I sit myself down on another chair, trying to not get sucked into the conversation they are having.

"Well, then tell me what else it could be?" Sam asks, looking at Dean in disbelief. "Look, all I know is I was not groped by an angel." Dean says, taking a sip from his beer. "Okay, look, Dean. Why do you think this Castiel would lie to you about it?" Sam asks, making me think as well. "Maybe he's some kind of demon. Demons lie." Dean says, making Sam huff. "Y/n... you were there as well... what do you think?" Sam asks me. I try to act like I hadn't heard him, acting like I was reading in a book. "Y/n?" Sam then asks again, making me huff and look up from my book.

"I don't want to get into the middle of this..." I say, scratching the back of my head nervously. "No go ahead... tell Sam he's wrong." Dean says, making me sigh. "I don't think he is..." I say, making Dean give me a pointed look. "Oh well who asked you..." Dean says like a 5 year old. I roll my eyes and look back down at my book. "See! Y/n thinks it's possible as well!" Sam says with a smirk on his face.

"It's a demon..." Dean says, annoyed at Sam and me. "A demon who's immune to salt rounds and devil's traps... and Ruby's knife? Dean, Lilith is scared of that thing!" Sam says in disbelief. "Don't you think that if angels were real, that some hunter somewhere would have seen one... at some point... ever?" Dean asks, making me roll my eyes again. "Yeah. You just did, Dean." I mutter. I look up and see Dean looking down at me through narrowed eyes.

"I'm trying to come up with a theory here. Okay? Work with me." He says, giving me a pointed look. I put my hands up defensively and motion for him to continue his conversation. "Dean, we have a theory." Sam says, taking my side. "Yeah, one with a little less fairy dust on it, please." Dean exclaims annoyed.

"Okay, look. I'm not saying we know for sure. I'm just saying that I think we –" Sam says, getting interrupted by Dean again. "Okay, okay. That's the point. We don't know for sure, so I'm not gonna believe that this thing is a freaking Angel of the Lord because it says so!" Dean yells, making Bobby look up at us.

"You three chuckleheads want to keep arguing religion, or do you want to come take a look at this?" Bobby asks, making us all walk over to his desk. "I got stacks of lore -- Biblical, pre-Biblical. Some of it's in damn cuneiform. It all says an angel can snatch a soul from the pit." Bobby says, making Sam smirk at Dean.

"What else?" Dean asks. "What else, what?" Bobby asks confused. "What else could do it?" Dean asks again. "Airlift your ass out of the hot box? As far as I can tell, nothing." Bobby says, making me look at Dean as well.

"Dean, this is good news." I say, making him scoff. "How?" he asks me, making me sigh. "Because for once, this isn't just another round of demon crap. I mean, maybe you were saved by one of the good guys, you know?" I ask with hope in my voice. "Okay. Say it's true. Say there are angels. Then what? There's a God?" Dean asks. "At this point, Vegas money's on yeah." Bobby says absentmindedly.

"I don't know, guys." Dean says, making Sam sigh. "Okay, look. I know you're not all choirboy about this stuff, but this is becoming less and less about faith and more and more about proof." He says, making me slowly nod at Dean. "Proof?" Dean asks in disbelief. "Yes." I say, agreeing with Sam.

"Proof that there's a God out there that actually gives a crap about me personally? I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it." Dean says, making me frown at him. "Why not?" I ask in disbelief and confusion. "Because why me? If there is a God out there, why would he give a crap about me?" he asks, making my heart ache a little. "Dean..." I begin but am immediately interrupted by him.
