Oof this is a difficult one-
Every character is different! Obviously.
Be acquainted with your characters, know what they would do, know what they would say, know how they'd react.
If you're stuck then here's what you do:
OC: brainstorm, look back on what you've written so far about them.
Character from media: Watch/Read material with them in it. R E S E A R C H!! Just research is the best tip I can give you!
I cannot tell you how many hours I've spent just researching what I could and scribbling it down on random bits of paper for later.
Fandom wiki is my saviour when it comes to small details!
Read their bio!!
If you want to write about MCU Tony but don't know if something will fit and the MCU info doesn't say anything, check other versions like Comic Tony!
The best you can do is be comfortable with your character.
Enjoy how you write them!
I love writing Pietro and I think my rendition of him stays true to what I perceive as his personality despite his short screen time!
