Dialogue!
The key element for character development.
Basis of interactions to form bonds.
People seem to find it difficult (you may not) to do dialogue.
To keep it simple: New speaker, new line!
E.g.
"Sherlock, you're an idiot," Anna smiles smugly.
"Thank you," Sherlock rolls his eyes.
This is correct! ^^^
Bad example:
"Hey, Cap! You're a bottom!" Anna laughs. "What does that even mean??" Cap yells back in confusion.
Do not do that! ^^^
Also make sure it's clear who is speaking because I've come across too many books where I'm like "Who the hell is talking??"
And I'm afraid I've made this mistake in the past but think my skills have improved over the years!
Do correct me if I'm wrong or you spot dialogue where the speaker isn't clear!
