The next day, we were all woken up ridiculously early by Dad. He said that if we wanted to train then we were going to do it properly. No shortcuts or special treatment.

Luckily I was well rested from my long sleep, however, I don't think Hailey or Ryan could say the same.

"I can't believe you woke us up at 5 o'clock this morning Uncle Reed. Are you trying to kill me?" Hailey groaned as she dragged herself over to the breakfast table.

"Usually I'd be starting even earlier than this Hailey. You should just be glad I'm taking it easy on you for the first day." Dad replied with a smirk, sipping on his coffee with an arm around my mother's shoulder.

It was around 6AM and we were all sat eating our breakfast in the kitchen. Most of us were all dressed and ready to go, with a couple of exceptions of course.

Leanne and I had had the insufferable job of dragging Hailey out of bed this morning, which took at least 20 minutes. Fortunately we were successful in the end, but even 3 teenage boys and 2 grown men couldn't get Ryan out of his bed. It was an impossible task.

"If Ryan doesn't get down here soon then we're leaving without him." Dad said, looking down at his watch.

"I'm here. I'm here."

We all turned to see Ryan walking slowly into the room with messy hair and his duvet cover still draped over his shoulders. He was just wearing grey sweatpants with no shirt and was practically still half asleep.

"How the heck are you awake right now?" Lucas asked, shocked.

"Yeah! We literally tried to drag you out of that bed and you wouldn't budge." Carter said. "You kicked me right in the face!"

"Mom..." Ryan sighed heavily as he turned to the door.

As he turned, Ivy entered the room with a smug smile on her face. She had her pale pink hair tied into a tight, high-ponytail as she stood beside her son.

"That wasn't so hard now was it Ry?" she said, patting him on the shoulder.

We all looked at her, impressed that she could get Ryan out of bed before midday, let alone before 7AM.

"Now go and put on a shirt for goodness sake!" she said, flicking the side of his head as he practically crawled out of the room again.

"How do you do it?" Blade said, shaking his head in amazement as he walked over and kissed his wife sweetly.

"What can I say? I'm amazing." she chuckled.

"Yes you are." he said, kissing her once more.

"Ew." Lucas said, making a face of repulse.

"Yeah, get a room you guys." Jamie said, looking disgusted at his parents and making the rest of us laugh.

"Oh shush, we don't say that to you and Hope now do we Jamie?" Ivy said, embarrassing her son.

"Oh shut up." he said, sinking back into his seat at the mention of his girlfriend.

"Don't be like that, you know we love Hope." Ivy giggled, walking over to Jamie and kissing him on the top of his head from behind.

"Aw Jamie and his girlfriend. How cute." Carter mocked, pouting his lips and holding up a heart with his hand.

"Shut up, at least I'm not dating Laura." Jamie said, pretending to gag as he kicked Carter under the table.

Everyone at the table made the same grimacing face, indicating that Jamie won that argument. Lets just say that none of us are huge fans of Carter's girlfriend...
