Y/N's POV

"You need to run, y/n. Run as fast as you can." My mother bent down to my level.

"No, I don't want to lose you." I hugged her as I cried.

"You will never lose me. I'll always be right here." She pointed to my heart, "You are stronger than you think, braver than you seem, and more loved than you will ever know. I love you, sweetheart, and that's why I need you to run." She opened a door and pushed me through the portal as I heard the demons come back.

"Mom!" I screamed.

"Run, y/n!" She screamed as a demon with red eyes picked her up. I cried and ran like I was told.

I kept running through the snow. I had no idea where I was, all I knew was that I'd never see my mom again.
