At a time in the world where things were feeling less and less certain, there was one thing you could always count on...

The Heroics

Our planet's team of superheroes and our heroes never failed.

"Sorry I'm late" Tech-No flew up to Miracle Guy "I had to put the ISR synthetic aperture together" he gave the device to Miracle Guy "let's just hope it's more than a downed satellite so the whole team can spring into action" Miracle Guy said "let's not" Tech-No said taking a puff out of his inhaler "be careful with that thing" Tech-No warned "when am i not careful?" Miracle Guy asked flying up to the sky "all the time" Tech-No said.

Miracle guy was now in space looking at a solar panel covered in holes "hey Tech-No" Miracle Guy called "what's up?" "The solar array, it's blown to bits" "seriously?"

Miracle Guy flew up higher and saw some ginormous purple ball that sorta looked like a spaceship, well that's what he thought "there's something coming a space ship of some kind, it just blasted some kind of energy ray at me" a purple light started going at Miracle Guy "do these clowns not know who I am?" He asked himself.

"I don't mean to be a nudge but any idea how long this is gonna take? I'm running on fuse" Tech-No asked, Miracle Guys ignored the questions and pulled out a selfie stick "just a quick selfie for my socials while I stop this thing" something flew behind Miracle Guy "wait a minute, that's not one ship, there's a whole armada out there" Miracle Guy said looking at all the small but still giant ships.

"Funny, if I didn't know better I'd say you actually sound a little worried, Miracle Guy?" There was a huge boom "H-base! Come in, this is Tech-No, Miracle Guy's been hit!" Tech-No said into his earpiece as he sees Miracle Guy slowly falling.

"Hit with what?"

Tech-No flew up higher and caught Miracle Guy "he's barely conscious!" "Miracle Guy is barely conscious?" "Have a catcher ready!" The jet turns off meaning that it ran out of fuse "I'm out!"

This was the day our heroes fell.

All of them.

But from that...

Others would rise.
