Y/n pov
The skeleton looked at me some more before letting it go. "Hey come here let me patch you up". the Skeleton said pulling me up in the tree.
He sat me on a branch and started to patch up all of my cuts. "So im Nightmare you"? He said when he finished.
"Oh umm im Y/n".
"So how about you tell me about what happened". He asked me. "oh some girls beat me up its fine tho"! i said not wanting him to be worried.
"Ok well how about you i guess reading my mind what was that about". He asked.
"Oh i don't really know about that it was the first time that happened'. i said trying to think if that ever happened before.
"Well Y/n you could have the power of reading minds". Nightmare told me.
I got really happy but then i got distracted. "HEY NIGHTMARE IM BACK" !! yelled a voice from below.
I looked down and saw a very happy skeleton waving at as. Nightmare jumped out of the tree so i followed him.
When he got back on the ground Nightmare hugged the other skeleton. "Oh nightmare is that a friend of yours"? The skeleton said looking at me.
"Hello im Dream Nightmares brother who are you " He said shaking my hand. I could feel all the positive energy coming from him.
"Im Y/n NIce to meet you". i said to him. Dream looked at me funny. "Y/n are you ok why are you bandaged up"?? Dream said looking at my arm and face.
"Im ok some kids just kinda......" my voice trailed off as i started crying a bit. " oh im sorry " Dream said giving me a hug.
I felt so calm in his arms he was so gentle. this poor girl she got beaten up didn't she!
"i-i did get beaten up " i said trying to hold back tears.
"h-how did i saw that out loud"?? Dream said looking at me very confused. "Brother she can read minds". Nightmare said.
"Wow Y/n thats really cool what am i thinking"!! Dream asked me. I love pineapples!!!
I laughed a bit "you love pineapples"!!i giggled.
"Ya thats right"!!!! Dream said "Y/n are you staying hear for the night its pretty late"? Dream asked me.
"OMG MY MOM" I screamed remember i had i had to be home more than an hour ago.
"I'm so sorry i have to go home ill see you tomorrow"!!!! I yelled running off back home.
When i got home i found my mom crying. "mom i home"! i said walking over to her.
"Oh my gosh Y/n were where you you had me worried sick" she said hugging me tight. "Oh gosh baby what happened she asked looking at my bandages.
"its ok im fine". I lied. "well where were you".she asked again. "i was at the guardian tree".
"Oh good, well go get some rest hunny " mom said letting go. I went upstairs and put on my (fav/color) tee shirt and some shorts.
I grabbed my phone and set and alarm to wake me up earl so i could go see Dream and Nightmare before class.
I layed down and drifted off to sleep.
