3rd person POV

While everyone was sleeping peacefully, Y/n can't sleep at all

She kept trying different methods but nothing seemed to work. She wants to do something else, but she's in a room full of light sleepers

'Great. I can't sleep and I'm in room with light sleepers. Great! Just great!' She thought in frustration as she kept tossing and turning

"What do I do?" She mouthed to herself as she got up as quietly as she can and went out the room

With silent steps, she walked out of the unfinished unit and crouched down into a ball and brought her knees to her chest as her arms hugged them

She looked at the night sky and an owl landed on her shoulder. It has white and black feathers, and it resembles Bokuto since he does look like an owl too.

"Hey, Hey, Hey there little owl, what are doing here?" She asked the creature as it just hooted. She chuckled as the bird looked at her

"You know, you look like Bokuto." She said as the owl just flew infront of her and she stretched out her arm for it to rest on. She scratched its chin and it gave a hoot

"You seem nice, can I give you a name?" She asked the creature as it just cocked its head to the side

"Nevermind, can I call you Bokuto? I know it sounds funny, but it suits you." She chuckled as the owl flew away which made her sad

"Well, bye then-"

"Hoot! Bokuto! Hoot!" It spoke as her mouth was wide open

"Did you just talk?!" She exclaimed as she covered her mouth, remembering the light sleepers inside

"Yes! Hoot! Bokuto! Hoot!" It spoke again as Y/n squealed as quietly as she could

"Can you be my Kasugai?" She asked as the owl hooted joyfully and flew in circles above her head

"Yes! Hoot! Kasugai Owl! Hoot! Bokuto! Hoot!" Bokuto spoke as Y/n jumped up and down

"My name is Y/n, I'd love to be your owner!" She said as Bokuto landed on her shoulder again

Zenitsu's POV

I couldn't sleep, but I can hear a voice outside. No wait, two voices. A male's and Y/n's...

I took a look at her now empty futon and it made me silently panic.

Was she abducted?!

I can hear her crying! Oh crap, what do I do?!

I got up silently and I went outside, I slammed the door open and I saw Y/n with... An owl?

"Oh, sorry! Did I wake you up?" She asked as she wiped away her tears and I just looked around for the male she was talking to earlier

"W-who were you talking to, Y/n-chan?" I asked as she stared at me for a moment and giggled and the owl hooted which made me a little scared

It flew to my shoulder as I looked at it, completely scared

It brought its face closer to mine which made me panic

"Bokuto, c'mon. He's my brother." Y/n said

Bokuto?

"Hoot! Sorry! Hoot!" It said. Wait, it spoke?!

"I-it spoke!" I said as Y/n just smiled at me and the owl landed on her shoulder

"I know, I was surprised at first but then I thought to myself 'Hey! Why not make him my Kasugai?'. I mean, you have a Kasugai Sparrow so I want a random Kasugai too." She said as the owl circled above her head
