"I could've paid Sweetie" my mom says walking out the door
"I know but I wanted to"
(A/N:If you're wondering why the pills were so expensive, is because it was a big bottle and plus Anxiety pills are a lot of money.)
"Well I owe you fifteen dollars then" She says rummaging through her purse
"No mom it's okay.."
My mom and I have being arguing back in forth saying "Yes" and "No" for about 5 minutes until my phone went off
"Okay fine! You can pay me but just not right now"
I checked my phone to see it was a text from Jack.
Jack😗🍁💨: Hey do you wanna get stoned tonight? 😎
Being in the hospital for awhile put a lot of stress on me so why not?
Me: Aye! 🙌 I'm in but where at?
I decided to ask my mom is she was working late tonight
"Mom are you working late tonight" I say still texting Jack
"I'm not working late but I am going to be at work, why?"
"Can I sleep over at Jack's?" I say smiling at my mom
"Okay sure... But if you come home pregnant-" I cut my mom off
"We're not going to have sex mom!"
My mom nodded
"So what are you going to do at his house?"
Oh god.. should I tell her or lie?
"Well?" She says keeping her eyes on the road
I chose to lie
"We're just going to watch Netflix, Maybe watch some videos on YouTube, order a pizza... I don't know"
"Oh okay sweetie have fun, but not too much fun" My mom says pulling into the driveway
"Oh my god mom, for the last time I'm not gonna have sex with him" I say opening the car door and walking to the mailbox
"Mom you got a letter from-"
Then she snatches it out of my hands
"It's not a letter"
I knew it was a letter but I'm just gonna drop the subject.
I ran to the doorstep and waited for my mom to open up the door.
Once I walked in I saw a "Welcome Home" banner, Amber, Jack, and my mom were smiling and yelling "Welcome Home Skylar!"
I laughed and gave them all a hug
"So are we still on for tonight" I say to Jack with a wink
"Yeah" He said with a smile
"Hey what's this secret talk I wanna come" Amber said giggling a little bit
I brought her to the bathroom and told her what were doing tonight
"Oh. I'm in Sky"
I nodded and walked out the bathroom with Amber.
"Wait did you tell her?" Jack said with a worried look
He doesn't want anybody to know he smokes weed, but he makes it so obvious.
"She smokes weed too" I whispered to Jack
He nodded
• ~ Couples hours later ~ •
"Alright sweetie I'm leaving have fun but-"
"I know mom"
She flashes me a "don't do anything stupid" look
I give her a nod and she finally walks out the door
"So who's house" Amber asks scrolling through her phone.
"Mine" Jack says
"Do we need to bring anything" I ask Jack knowing that I'm the person that brings the wraps
"Yeah get some wraps and then we an head to McDonald's for food once we get the munchies" Jack says looking at me
I nodded and ran upstairs to get the wraps.
All of a sudden I get a text from Cameron
Cameron😒💀: Welcome Home Sky
Me: K thanks
Cameron😒💀: Wow you're still a bitch, I thought once you knocked your head on the floor you would wake up being nice.
Me: Uhm that's coming from the person that knocks me into a locker causing me to have a minor concussion.. Ya I should've came out nicer
Cameron😒💀: Whatever You should've died. No one would even notice you're absent
Ouch that stung ...
Could he be right?
Would no one miss me?
No don't think that way your mom just said she loved you and that you're the only one she has..
Me: Fuck you Cameron I don't have time to deal with your bullshit
Cameron😒💀: Kill yourself Bitch
And after that I didn't reply... How come he was texting me about a week about (😏) that he's sorry and wants my forgiveness and now today he tell me to Go kill myself? This boy is Bipolar as fuck... He's petty and I'm not gonna scoop to his level...
"SKY YOU OKAY? YOU'VE BEEN UP THERE FOR A LONG TIME" Amber yells
"YEAH IM FINE, I GOT THE WRAPS" I yell back ..
I came running down the stairs
"Okay Cheetah let's get moving" Jack says laughing
The whole car ride I couldn't help but think about Cameron and what he said...
"Come on Sky stop thinking about that.. Hey we're about to get high so let all your troubles go" I say to myself
After who knows how long we finally reached Jack's house
"Cool place you got here" Amber says to Jack
"Thanks" Jack says opening the door
