When I got home I changed into a yellow dress and slipped on my white sandals before putting my hair in a ponytail. I walked to our spot where Brandon was smoking a joint.
"I thought you only do that when you can't sleep" I asked
"I do it whenever I feel like it" he replied then took a puff
Brandon and I hung out for a few hours but then I remembered I had homework to do. We said our goodbyes and I went home to do my work. 3 essays later I looked at the clock and realized it was 7;45 and I was starving. I ate a salad before showering then going to bed.
October was quickly approaching and I couldn't be happier. Life was honestly going good for me and Brandon and I were closer than ever. Sunday morning after church I had plans to go our spot like normal.
"I feel like each day that goes by we're getting closer" Brandon said as he put his feet in the water
"Ironically you're the only person who makes me not feel completely alone in the world" I said
"I don't get that" he said
"What" I asked
"I mean you have a boyfriend of years The most popular girl in school people literally adore you but yet you feel alone" he said
"I guess no matter what I never felt like I belonged anywhere" I said with a sigh
"So what you're saying is I'm your best friend" he said with a smile
"That is so not what I'm saying" I said rolling my eyes
"It's okay Alice your my best friend to" he said
"What did you just call me" I said
"Alice Aliceion is just to long to say every five minutes " he said
"Nobody's ever called me that before I kinda like it" I said with a smile
"Okay but only I can call you that" he said trying to look serious
"Deal" I said with a serous face
Just then he busted out laughing
"What the hell is wrong with you Brandon" I asked
"Your serious face just sent me" he said cackling
"Ridiculous" I said rolling my eyes
"Yeah kinda like your serious face" he said while cackling again
I pushed him into the water and he fell in with a splash as I began laughing.But right before I could walk away he grabbed my dress and pulled me in with him.
"I'm all wet now" I yelled
"So am I" he yelled
We both began laughing again. I'm so happy he's my best friend.
