~|~|~

I stood in front of his door, staring at the bell.
"Gosh what to do? Should I leave?"

I turned to leave but stopped.
"But I came this far" I argued with myself.

Looking over my shoulder at the dark burgundy wooden door, I approached it again.

"You can do this" I took a deep breath fixing my hair quickly.

I rung the doorbell and waited.
"No answer? Is he even home?" I looked through the window by the small garden that separated itself from the porch.

All the lights in the living room were off. It was 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday, the sun was out shining between many cirrus clouds.

I rang the doorbell again.

Thrice more.

No answer.

I started knocking then ringing again.
"I'm coming!" I heard him yell from inside.

I smiled to myself tapping my feet in excitement.
"Okay okay. Breathe Kendyl"
I held my breath as the locks began to click and the knob turned.
I gasped averting my eyes
"Uh"
"What do you want Kendyl?"
"Your shirtless.."
"What?" He looked down
"You're not wearing a shirt" I breathed out
"So? You never seen a guy shirtless before?"
I was flushed bright red. His chest was...something.
"I have!" I turned to look at him, his hair was a mess.

"Why did you come here? I was sleeping" he stood in the doorway, he was literally the size of the whole doorframe.

He leaned against the frame, adjusting his body weight.
"Oh um-"

24 hours earlier

"Seriously Kendly! You love looking for trouble" Mel argued chasing after me.
I walked down the hall looking into every class room for him.
"Where the hell is he?"
"Are you even listening to me!" Melanie yelled
"Aha I found him!" I watched Mr. James yell at his history class for not listening and using their mobile devices.

The person I came for was sitting in the front row,  fiddling with his cellphone.

"Hey!Kendyl What you are you doing?!" Melanie whisper/yelled looking over her shoulder

I pushed the door open walking up to Mr. James.
"Can I help you?" He turned to me, chalk in hand.
"Um hi. Assistant principal Marcus wants to see Tyler"

At the sound of his name being called, he looked up from his phone.
"Me?" He pointed to himself
I nodded "Yes"

Melanie ran into the classroom looking extremely nervous.
I gave her a stern look
"Relax" I mouthed
Mr. J watched us skeptically.
"Tyler, go with them" he nodded
"Do I need to bring anything?" He stood
"No. It'll be quick" I smiled softly.

Suddenly, I made eye contact with Celine, she snarled at me.

"You're dead" I mouthed waving.
"Thanks Mr.J" I smiled leading Melanie and Tyler out the class.

Once we were out of ear-drop, I confronted him.
"Where is he?"

He was taken aback by my sudden outburst.
