//हमको मिली हैं आज, ये घड़ियाँ नसीब से

Dear Diary,

Time continued to slip away, and before we knew it, we had been married for five months.

My once-gloomy life suddenly blossomed with joy on the day of my birthday, when the door knocked unexpectedly, and through it strode a 6 feet 4 inches tall man holding my favorite carnations.

Kabir.

"Happy Birthday, darling!" he exclaimed, wrapping me in a warm embrace.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I replied, "Thank you, Kabir!"

"How old are you? Crying over every little thing!" he said adoringly, wiping my tears.

Kabir's presence filled the room with an aura of warmth that we miss during his deployments.

The air buzzed with excitement as we headed to a cozy, upscale restaurant known for its delectable cuisine to celebrate my birthday.

The night unfolded into a symphony of laughter and chatter, with both our families bonding over stories, sharing jokes, and relishing the sumptuous dishes. It was a delightful experience to see our parents and siblings blend seamlessly, as if they had known each other for ages.

Kabir's dad suddenly raised his glass and said, "To our wonderful daughter-in-law, who brings light into our lives and joy into our hearts."

My father nodded in agreement, a warm smile on his face, and added, "To our amazing son-in-law, whose dedication and love have earned our utmost respect."

All of us clinked our glasses while Kabir and I held hands under the table, his thumb caressing my palms.

My birthday cake soon arrived, a work of art with candles flickering atop. I stood at the center of the table, surrounded by my family and my loving husband, Kabir. The anticipation in the air was palpable, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness.

Kabir whispered in my ear, "Make a wish, my love."

I closed my eyes, made a silent wish, and then blew out the candles. Cheers and applause erupted, and I couldn't contain my excitement.

With a bright smile, I took the knife and carefully cut the cake. As I looked around at the faces around, I could not help but feel overwhelmed by love.

Kabir cut a slice of the cake and lovingly fed it to me. "I love you, jaan," he whispered while wrapping his arms around me, placing a sweet kiss on my temple.
