Longing for your presence, a soothing power.
But the void echoed back, a hollow sound,
In your absence, my sorrow was profound.The nights grew colder, the days so long,
In your absence, everything felt wrong.
I yearned for your touch, your comforting gaze,
But all I found was an empty haze.Where were you, when my heart cried out?
Lost in the silence, consumed by doubt.
Your absence, a wound, deep and raw,
A painful reminder of the love I saw.But in the depths of despair, a lesson learned,
In the absence of others, self-love returned.
For in the end, when all is lost,
We find strength within, at any cost.
