Hello all,

With winter well under way, I think we all can heave a collective sigh of relief.

This past semester I've done so much in terms of both creative and academic writing. For a creative writing class I started a book, of all things, one that I'm actually eager to continue writing even through the highs and the lows of it. However, I've also turned to poetry.

Over the past year I've been writing and compiling poems into a little book that I'm calling "Invocations," a little more than inspired by all of the mythology and tales I've read during my time at school. I really like the variety of it.

Happy holidays, and may the muses inspire,

Hello everyone,

I have to decrease activity on wattpad for a whole myriad of reasons at the moment, but I can say when winter comes, I'll pick things back up again. Until then, I'll try to upload and respond as quickly as possible, but updates may be sporadic at best.

Lots of love to everyone who just found this little corner of the internet I call home, those who have stayed and grown with me over the past six years, and thank you all. :)

I can officially say that Apples and Oranges and Jekyll and Hyde is finally complete. It wasn't my intention originally, but I enjoyed seeing how I went from finding the similarities and differences between things, to finding those things within myself, and then going to unite myself and others in a mere fifteen poems that I can look back on with some fondness. I'm happy to see how far it's come, and by extension, how far I've come.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but so many of the things happened this past week!

I got to participate in my first poetry reading on the second of March, which was really cool. There was such a diverse array of poets and for the first time in my life I didn't feel nervous about anything! Like, I felt I didn't have to prove myself, and I think overall that made my reading appear much more relaxed and confident (which I could use on a more daily schedule).

I was able to recite "Apples and Oranges," "On Rhymes and Pronunciation" and "A Storm" before being cut off to time restraints. I really need to learn how not to ramble about stuff when performing. Still a habit I need to check. But Anywaaaaay, Just thought I put a teeny little update since I'm not as active as I'd thought I'd be this week.

          Love you all!
