On here, I chose to go by the name of Alia to keep my online and offline life separated. If you are my friend and get to know me well enough, I will let you call me something else.

I love reading. My favourite books include The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Fablehaven, The Inheritance Circle, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, a Room with a View, A Passage to India, The Shaman's Body, Othello, The Tempest and Pantomime. I have read many books over the years and just love chatting about that.

I write. My writing is far from stellar, and I probably don't put half as much effort into that as I should, but I love writing a lot. It's somewhat of a passion. I enjoy writing Fantasy, Realistic, Horror and Romance, although I do my best to steer clear of clichés (and usually fail).

My religious beliefs are vary varied. I was raised Buddhist, but I take some things form Paganism, Hinduism,Christianity and some of my own ideas.
My ultimate goal is to become a Shaman, and I want to travel for that reason.
