I'll make this as short & sweet as I can...

I'm a thirty-something-year-old Writer who grew up in a small town, serving pizzas and chasing dreams. I spend my days working as an accounts payable clerk for a construction company and the rest of my time reading, writing, and discovering new coffee shops in Ontario.

In 2010, with the encouragement of my closest friend I started a blog called My Pen, My Voice. I treated this blog as a diary and documented all of the seemingly mundane things that happened in my early twenties. I wrote lifestyle posts, book reviews, essays, and product reviews. It was my own safe corner of the Internet.

At the age of twenty-one I decided to self-publish a collection of poetry and prose. A few years later I self-published my first novel. Since then, my writing has changed, my voice is stronger and more confident. With this confidence I started writing about heartache, anxiety, and every other emotion I could put into words.

I'm currently querying a children's picture book that that I wrote earlier this year.
